It's a...

We had our gender reveal celebration yesterday and opened up our big Christmas box to find these...

Things didn't go exactly as planned as the balloons didn't stay inflated and H had to "dump" them out to show everyone what was inside.  It was so very "us" that something went wrong and I didn't get my perfect picture!  It was so great to have our family and friends there with us and my BFF and MOH was on FaceTime to see it all. 

However, we are thrilled about our little boy and looking forward to seeing him again on Saturday at our follow up ultrasound.  We will have the tech show us "the goods" then to confirm, but as mama predicted, we are having a little boy!

Anniversary
We are both 32 and have been TTC since October 2010. Dx unexplained. BFN on 5 IUI's
IVF#1 - ER 09/14/12, ET 09/17/12: two 8 cells, BFP: 9/28 Beta#1 56.8; 10/2 Beta#2 284; 10/5 Beta#3 939; 10/9 Beta #4 4967. Ultrasounds 1 and 2 revealed one embryo with nice heartbeat! EDD 06/07/13

Me: 29, DH 29 – Married 8/31/08; TTC #1 since 1/2012
DX: MFI due to Chemo/Stem Cell Transplant for Hodgkin’s Lymphoma(DX in 2009, transplant Aug 2010). SAs in 2011 and 2012 show 0 sperm (he banked pre-chemo but motility and count are low due to effin cancer). RE said go straight to IVF.
Me: HSC 2/8 revealed septate uterus, septum removed via HSC 3/14.
IVF #1 Started stims 4/16 (Happy Bday DH!) Bravelle & Menopur, Ganirelix; Day 8 of stims revealed 2 mature eggs, ER 4/26 – 1 egg retrieved, 0 fertilized. 1 vial of DH's sperm down, 2 left.
IVF #2 Start 8/6; Gonal-F 300, Menopur 300. Also taking Baby Asprin and DHEA per doctor's orders. ER - 8/20, 7 eggs retrieved,2 fertilized. ET 8/23, Beta #1 9/6: 382... BFP! Beta #2 1864! U/S 9/18 shows TWINS!
Our boys couldn't wait to meet us! Kieran James and Colin Michael arrived March 26, 2013 at 33w1d.

Tried for baby #1 for 2 years - Began stims for IVF#1 7/21/12
ER 8/2/12 - 14 retrieved, 12 mature and ICSI'd, 6 fertilized. ET 8/7 - 2 embies. Beta#1 8/17: 143! Beta#2 8/20: 590! Beta#3 8/22: 1,162! 1st US 9/4: one beautiful little bean with the best sounding HB I've ever heard!

Congrats!  Even though the reveal didn't go as planned, I think it makes things more memorable when there's a snafu.  At least that tends to be our experience :)

TTC: 2.5years All welcome!  ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Sept-Dec 11: Found out about Fragile X   April 2012: Our PGD probe is complete  May/June 2012: Begin shots  June 18th 2012: Egg Retrieval date: 11 retrieved  June 24th 2012: 3 frosties  July 2nd:  Not good 4 cysts cycle cancelled  July 30th: Begin shots again!  August 9th: Egg Retrieval date: 11 Retrieved.  August 15th: 6 frosties! 9 sent to genetics  August 23rd: Genetic testing done! Two 'normal' healthy embryos  Sept 6th: Found out one embryo is boy and one is girl  Sept 11th: begin lupron for ET!
