Christmas Eve

Are you letting your LOs open at less one gift on this day or you going to hold off until Christmas day ??? Im going to let my DDs open one gift and hand them they stuffed stockings that I created with lil hand toys:

When I was growing up we always got to open one present on Christmas Eve and it was always new PJs. I am going to keep that tradition going.

That being said, we are celebrating with my in laws on Christmas Eve so DSS and DS will get all their presents from them that night too.

We go to my parents and my inlaws for Christmas Eve so he will get to open plenty of gifts there. He will open his gifts from Santa on Christmas Day.

On Christmas Eve my MIL will be here so we'll exchange gifts with her.  That means DD will open grandma presents.  Christmas Day is when she'll open all her Santa presents and ones from mom and dad.  I didn't do stockings this year.  Maybe I will in the future though.

We go to DHs family that night and DD will get a ton of presents from aunts and uncles, so that's it.  Also we'll be there late and she'll be asleep when we get home.

We celebrate Christmas Eve with my mom's side and we open almost everything that evening.  Christmas Day they get their Santa gift and we spend the day with my dad's side and they open what he gifts them.

We are going to my husband's family tomorrow night so she will get tons of presents there to open. I did buy her brand new pjs though to change into--I figured at least let her change into nice, new, clean pjs. 

She will be opening our gifts on Christmas Day--along with my in laws.

Tomorrow night will be gifts from DH's aunts/uncles/cousins.

We do Christmas PJ's. H and I don't actually need any new PJ's so I just wrapped up pajama pants we already own with some new T-shirts for us. I know I'll have to actually get us new ones next year but maybe we'll need some by then ;) DD got cute little Carters Jammies :-) I'm so excited to see them on her!

All on Christmas even though they are Santa presents and family gifts... DH never got open presents on Christmas Eve so that's what he wants to do... Though opening a Christmas book or something to read the night before sounds like a nifty tradition to start :

Growing up with my Dad he always let me pick one present on Christmas Eve. When he remarried I always got PJs but I don't like that bc I only wore them for one night and it felt wasteful. For our LOs they will get a Christmas book on Christmas Eve.
