pupluv0410:Thank you Beh3e.
You're welcome. Don't be surprised that you got this reaction, though. CIO is a hot topic on TB and there are a lot of different aspects that go into it other than just letting your LO scream, so I would definitely do some research and look into different methods that are appropriate for your LO emotionally and developmentally.
Thank you! I will ask my ped. I dont like letting him cry, and i dont. When he cries we get him...but I also dont want to spoil him. Thats why I asked the question. He is 15 weeks old and has been up since 745 this morning. We know he is tired but he just wouldnt go to sleep. We finally got him down around 230.
Like PP said, you can't spoil him at this age. It goes along with him not knowing cause and effect. He doesn't understand that a certain behavior causes you to do another behavior. He won't cry just to cry because he knows you'll come if he cries, because he doesn't have the capacity to understand that yet. If he's crying, it's because he needs something, it's just sometimes his needs are really hard to pinpoint, and/or they are something that's exhaustive, like just needing to be close to mommy.
