DH is freelancing for a football club and they haven't payed him in 6 weeks, making us late on rent and bills, which is one thing. We had to borrow money from MIL and step FIL for rent and bills this month.
Two, MIL gave DH a lecture about how they don't want Christmas gifts from us because we borrowed money from them. Since DH family already had a low as you can get opinion of DH, they don't want gifts from us bought with their own money. Apparently they think that's all the money there is and we're just freeloading off them. Eff you too then.
On top of that, they expect DH to cook Christmas dinner even though they invited us over. WTF? But DH thinks if he doesn't, it would end badly because none of them can cook.
