My baby girl has a name!

My husband and I are happy to announce we are having a precious baby girl! This is both our first. My husband is Italian so we decided to go with an Italian first name. The middle name has my husbands Grandmas middle name and my Grandmas middle name combined.. Both our Grandmas have passed and we were very close to them. So we wanted to include their names..

Please let me know what you think of our little baby girls name ...

Giana is pronounced Gannah

I think it is lovely! I think I'd eliminate the double caps in the middle name and do Rosemarie though.

I was thinking the same thing. I also agree with PPs that you should let the double capital go in the MN.

I've never heard of Giana pronounce that way. The pronunciation Gannah makes me think of the country, Ghana. It's a pretty name when pronounced Gee-ah-nah.

And I also agree about the random capitalization in the middle of Rosemarie.

While that pronunciation makes more sense, I think that if she doesn't live in Italy, she will be forever correcting the pronunciation here in the states.

The name is NMS, but I do prefer Giovanna or Gianna. Also, I would use Rosemarie.
