Have you heard of "food combining"? that can help with gas.
Basically it means to eat fruit on an empty stomach, OR a half an hour before/after you eat something. Fruit ferments really fast, so if it's in the gut with other food, it can get stuck which can cause gas/bloating/indigestion
Not eating starchy carbs and meat together - so not having potatoes with chicken.
Drinking a lot of water can help flush out excess waste
Laying on your left side, knees up can help relieve some pressure
(and also... not that I care about others posting on different tri boards, I do it too, but don't forget, lots of women on the first tri board have been pregnant before/have kids, so they can also help you as well)
