no more tangles? (detangler question)

my lo always get tangles in her hair when i wash it, so i bought some detangler spray. i got the suave kids double dutch apple detangler, and i found it at cvs in the baby aisle right next to diaper rash cream and the baby shampoo. i have been using it for a couple weeks, and tonight i noticed that it says "not for use on infants and toddlers" ... why would it not be ok? and why would they put it in the baby aisle? what do you use? i have looked everywhere for the original johnsons no more tangles that i used as a kid and i cant find it anywhere.

may siggy challenge

I just use regular conditioner on her/them, but I have that spray for mornings too. I have no idea why it would say that, but it doesn't really bother me.

Huh, I've been using detangler on DD for 2.5 years and we've gone through several bottles of it. I can't stand the smell anymore so I buy the target brand now. IIRC, J J's spray in the green bottle gets the best ratings in the EWG skin deep data base.

I buy the Target brand too! Works good, cheap and is relatively chemical icky free if I remember.

Mine has the warning on the back too. I'm just assuming it's for the one idiot out there who thinks it's okay to let their toddler do it themselves and then drink it. ;) Whatever. It only takes one spray...so I'm not real worried about it.

I'm sure it's absolutely fine, especially if it's in the aisle next to the diaper rash cream and baby shampoo.

I have been using all brands for DD since she was a toddler. I have it in a spray bottle and I mix it with water. About half and half.
