Zofran and Constipation

Do I have to choose between nausea and constipation? I took zofran the other night, and now I'm all stopped up. For those of you on it, is this a common thing? I did a google search and now I am paranoid about taking it, even if I need it. 

 

Im sitting here hoping that the combination of prune juice and milk of magnesia my doctor suggested will work by morning. That was the most disgusting thing I have ever tastes.

I was like this with my last dd. I took colace as per doctors orders. One with every zofran. Give it a try. Good luck.

I'm in the same boat. Zofran allows me to eat, drink, and keep necessary medications down. Unfortunately... It also stops me up. I'm taking colace and just started Metamucil, too. and trying to drink lots which is hard to do!!

If I don't have some relief by tomorrow, I think I'll call my doctor to see what else to do!!

Since I'm sure you all want to know, the warm prune juice with milk of magnesia ended up helping. Too bad it tasted terrible, but beggars can't be choosers, I guess.
