hair feels like straw

DS has thin hair and in the back it feels like straw. Anyone have a LO with hair like this? Do you think it will eventually get softer?

LO's feels like straw when it hasn't been washed or brushed in a few days (I used to never brush it but I've since learned that it needs it).

If it's dry then look into a different shampoo, perhaps.

DD has hair just like mine. Smooth and silky everywhere but the back, which is straw-like and constantly tangled.

Your LO's hair might get softer, but it might not.

We have had this-

We now comb her hair while in the tub again- we did this when she was little, but stopped- Since starting back up it has been much softer.

no but I do and it never got softer lol 

It is the strangest thing.  I have very soft hair all over and then the hair underneath in the back is like you are describing.  My hair people think its so strange.  It is what it is.
