I'm here- and still pregnant!

Hi guys,

i feel like its been forevs, and I'm so out of the loop! I'm sorry I've missed all the updates, gender reveals, BFPs and BPFs this last week! Trust me, I've been thinking about you all (since I have a ton of time on my hands!). It's just hard to be on my iPad while hooked up to these dang monitors all the time.  Here's where I'm currently at...

35w3d and hanging in there. BP is finally responding to the meds but now I'm on the max daily dose :\ OB and peri can't decide if its pre-e or gestational hypertension: BP was SCARY high (at one point last Tuesday it was 199/100 and they started prepping me for a c-section) but kidney/liver/platelets totally normal. I was spoiling a decent amount of protein in my 24 hour catch, but they've also repeated that and the amount has decreased considerably. Laying on my side in a dark hospital room 24 hours a day seems to agree with me, cause baby so far looks fantastic: passes her twice daily NSTs, has tons of fluid, etc. it's still a day to day situation but for the time being things have improved. I'm miserable and heartsick to be in the hospital at Christmas, but I remind myself that every day I'm here and still pregnant is hopefully one less day Thalia will spend in the NICU.  Your thoughts and encouragement mean more than you know right now!

Sorry you're still stuck in the hospital, but VERY happy to hear you're still pregnant! Hoping you can stay that way (pregnant, not necessarily in the hospital) for at least another couple of weeks.  Merry Christmas!

Sorry you will be stuck there for Christmas, but I'm glad to read a good update. Sending lots of prayers and thoughts your way! Hope you can keep that little one baking a bit longer. In the end when you look into her little eyes for the first time this will all be worth it. Have a great Christmas, sweetie.

I am so sorry you are stuck in the hospital for Christmas but I am so happy to hear that you both are doing better!  Hopefully when baby girl makes her arrival she will not need any time in the NICU.

So glad to see an update.  Hope your LO hangs in there a while longer.  Hope your Christmas isn't too miserable in the hospital.  It will definitely all be worth it and next Christmas you can look forward to sharing the day with your beautiful daughter!

So glad to hear from you! You and Thalia have been on my mind a lot this week. I'm glad to hear that your BP is finally responding to the meds but I'm sorry your stuck in the hospital. Does it look like they'll be keeping you there until you deliver? I hope that she is able to make it to 37 weeks and that giving her a little extra time keeps her from a NICU stay. You and your little girl are in my prayers and I hope you both continue to improve. Try to enjoy your Christmas and continue to take care of yourself and your precious little girl.

I'm so happy to hear you're still pregnant and that you, and especially baby, are looking so good for the time being!!! I know it's hard being cooped up, but hang in there! It'll all be so worth it in the end!

I am so sorry your spending Christmas in the hospital but I'm glad your doing much better and Thalia is doing great. I hadn't seen what your were naming her til now and I must say I ABSOLUTELY LOVE her name. It's beautiful I am sending you lots of TP's.
on a side note Jackson was born at 35w6d and no NICU stay, so it's not always the case. Which I'm hoping for you if she comes earlier than 37. Ill be lurking and checking on you.

So glad to read your update! It sure sucks to be in hospital at Christmas, but is very good news that your little girl is still happily cooking away and that your bp responds to the medication. You'll have a special Christmas story to share with her in the years to come! I wish you the best Christmas possible and hope your Thalia (love that name by the way) can wait until the new year to make her entrance!

Thanks for the update, KP. You've been on my mind and in my prayers this entire time. I'm glad to hear that you and T are doing okay. Keep it up, mama! Sorry you're stuck in the hospital for the holidays, but I love your attitude. This will all be so worth it when you finally get to meet your sweet [troublemaking] little girl.
