2 rounds of pills and now D&C this week :(

Long vent, sorry it's been a hard couple of weeks.  So, I took the first round of pills on 12/11/12 and knew I didn't pass everything.  It never got that bad... and there were no major clots.  The doctor followed my beta's and they were going down as they were supposed to so we left it alone until my follow up 12/17/12.  She decided then to do another dose, so I took the 2nd dose that evening.  That did nothing.  No bleeding or pain at all.  I went back for my follow up Friday afternoon and had and u/s and sure enough there is still content from the pregnancy in my uterus and now I'm scheduling my D&C for Wednesday or Thursday of this week.  I never, in a million years, anticipated this being this hard.  I can't begin to heal or be okay if I'm having blood drawn every 2 days and going to doctors appointments and bleeding and talking to the nurse or doctor on the phone and having to schedule procedures.  Last time I was able to start healing by now.  The bleeding was letting up, I was sad but every day was getting better.  Right now, every day is harder than the previous, and it doesn't help that I'm supposed to be happy and celebrating the holiday with all of my cousins and their new babies and my very pregant cousins, blah.  I was with my in laws this weekend doing Christmas and all I heard about all weekend is my SIL's new boyfriend (but she's still married and living at home with her 3 children and husband and the husband knows about it... that's all I'll say about that situation).  My in laws didn't know anything but I had several break downs where I just walked away, but there is very little privacy and ahh I just hate this.  I'm so sad and heart broken, I don't know what to do anymore :(  End rant.

I'm so sorry you're going through all this. I can only imagine how hard it is to not have closure so that you can start trying to accept and move on. I know the waiting for resolution was the hardest part for me, and it's still tough even knowing it is over. I hope they can get it all sorted out at your next appointment so you can start trying to heal.

Hi lady,

just wanted to tell you how sorry I am..and that I just went thrue that exact same thing last week..2 rounds of pills & then d&c. I don't know, I just felt like I was the only person probably who went thrue this..like this & I was reading stuff around here and also your story so just wanted to let you know you're not alone..xoxo. First of all I am very sorry for you having to go through this experience. I too am on my second round of meds and am going to the docs tomorrow for an u/s to see if I need the d&c. Its a tough time I completely understand but you are not alone!
