Hot bath ops

Just took a bath to ease some back pain I've been having. When I got in it was too cool, so I turned on the hot... Well I wasn't paying attention and the next thing I know I'm feeling too hot... So I got right out. Just needing some reassurance that this is no big deal. Pregnancy is turning me into a worry wart.

If you got out once you started feeling hot I think you're fine. Try not to worry.

Your baby will be totally fine. I think your body can tell when enough is enough. I've taken showers that were hot and while it felt good initially I begin feeling icky pretty soon if it's too hot KWIM? Sounds like you were paying attention so it's fine.

I'm pretty sure you would have to be in there an extended period of time to possibly do any harm.  Even then, the risks are still low so try not to worry!

It's fine. You could also have just added some more cool water to get it to a more comfortable temperature.

Baths are 100% fine. You can even take them as hot as you can stand them. The reason? They do not maintain constant temperature. They start to cool the minute you draw them. So, you can't heat your core temp (the worry with saunas and hot tubs which is why it is a no no).

Even if you "feel warm" your core temperature doesn't vary. You should be fine.

This. Enjoy those baths! I know I have been.
