Emergency Surgery TP's Needed

Saturday night at about 8:30pm I made my DH take me to the emergency room with severe abdominal pain. I thought it was caused from a pulled muscle from all the coughing over the past week.

After an ultrasound around 2:30am the doctor tells me I have a huge gall stone, that I am being admitted, and having an emergency surgery.

At 9:30 yesterday morning I had my gall bladder removed. Baby Jacob tolerated the surgery very well and is doing great. His mama on the other hand is pretty miserable. If you can please send TP's for a speedy recovery and that they allow me to go home for Xmas.

Oh no! That sounds really scary! I am glad you are both doing well - I often think about how tough our LOs are - makes us look like wimps sometimes Smile. T&Ps for a speedy recovery!

Tried for baby #1 for 2 years - Began stims for IVF#1 7/21/12
ER 8/2/12 - 14 retrieved, 12 mature and ICSI'd, 6 fertilized. ET 8/7 - 2 embies. Beta#1 8/17: 143! Beta#2 8/20: 590! Beta#3 8/22: 1,162! 1st US 9/4: one beautiful little bean with the best sounding HB I've ever heard!

T&ps!!!! I am glad Jacob is doing well. I had my GB out about 4 years ago and while I wasn't pregnant then it did get better fairly quickly. After 3 or 4 days I could walk like a semi-upright human again. And by a week I was back at work, although not 100%.  I hope your recovery is just as smooth and that you have lots of help for the next few days. 

ETA: I missed the part that you are still in hospital... T&P you get home for tomorrow!

Me: 29, DH 29 – Married 8/31/08; TTC #1 since 1/2012
DX: MFI due to Chemo/Stem Cell Transplant for Hodgkin’s Lymphoma(DX in 2009, transplant Aug 2010). SAs in 2011 and 2012 show 0 sperm (he banked pre-chemo but motility and count are low due to effin cancer). RE said go straight to IVF.
Me: HSC 2/8 revealed septate uterus, septum removed via HSC 3/14.
IVF #1 Started stims 4/16 (Happy Bday DH!) Bravelle & Menopur, Ganirelix; Day 8 of stims revealed 2 mature eggs, ER 4/26 – 1 egg retrieved, 0 fertilized. 1 vial of DH's sperm down, 2 left.
IVF #2 Start 8/6; Gonal-F 300, Menopur 300. Also taking Baby Asprin and DHEA per doctor's orders. ER - 8/20, 7 eggs retrieved,2 fertilized. ET 8/23, Beta #1 9/6: 382... BFP! Beta #2 1864! U/S 9/18 shows TWINS!
Our boys couldn't wait to meet us! Kieran James and Colin Michael arrived March 26, 2013 at 33w1d.

dx homozygous for 3 thrombophilias, poor egg quality, and most likely autoimmune problem. Anything I'm missing?

IVF #1: Did not get to ET, embies all failed PGD (major chromosomal defects)
IVF #2: We have 2 chromosomally perfect embies as a result of PGD (Boy/Girl)1 failed the thaw - transferred 1, ended as c/p
Thought it was the end of our TTC Journey 6/20/2012

FET#2 7/16 - 2 blasts = BFN
FET#3 8/20 - 1 blast - BFP!! Beta #1-2=177, 354 Stick Baby Bear Stick!

TTC 1/2010 DH Dx - Azoospermia 2/2011
Hysteroscopy 3/2011 2 Polyps removed 4/2011
DH on Clomid / Arimidex to address hormonal issues - Sperm found July 2011!
IVF #1 September 2011 - ER 9/8/2011- 8R, 5M - icsi - 1 made it to transfer - BFFN :-(
IVF #2 Lucky November 2011 - ER 11/25/2011 - 15 eggs!, 13 mature, 10 fertilized with isci - 7 made it to transfer! Transferred 1 - 8 cell and 2 - 7 cell. BFP!!!!
1st U/S - Twins! 2nd U/S - 3 heartbeats!!! - HOLY COW!!!
Prayers for our take home babies!
2 babies born on 3/27/12 and lost. Last baby born on 3/29/12 and lost at 20 weeks.
My angels grew wings shortly after birth.

IVF #4 October 2012 - New RE. Doing PGD Testing. 8 R, 7F, 2 made it to 5 day blast for PDG testing. Both Normal (Thank you G-d!!!) 1 boy and 1 girl
transferred one beautiful 5day blast (girl)
Please G-d the almighty one - let this be our take home baby!
Beta #1 158, Beta #2 318, 1 Absolutely magnificent HB at 175! Thank you G-d!!!
