Temp Q?

What is the significance of the 3 days temp rise? Does your temp usually maintain the higher number for longer? I've had 2 days of consecutive higher temps and didn't know if its safe to assume O yet because I am missing a temp. I kept getting woken up and didn't have my 3 hours on the day before these last two temps. I'm kicking myself now for not taking it anyway even an open circle would have been better! I just didn't know if the temp will drop after the 3rd day or if it usually sustains longer. If that's the case..if tomorrow's temp is still high it should confirm O.

Usually, your temps will be high for longer than 3 days after O.For a lot of people, their temps stay up until just before their period starts.

Fertility Friend needs three days to confirm O so that it can be sure they're not just random high temps.

What Beth said... I'm new to charting as well, but I had a very eratic looking chart like you do and I had the same question also. After I O'd my chart started to make a bit more sense to me since I could really see the temp shift. Hopefully tomorrows temp for you is still high and you'll get your cross hairs!

Thanks ladies! That's what I thought but wasn't sure with being new to this...I assumed starting mid cycle I had surely missed O and we haven't been really trying at all this cycle. I came off my BCP in mid November. I guess it made me O off schedule. If this was in fact O I could still end up pregnant since we did do the BD either O or O based on what the chart has now and depending on where it actually confirms if my temps stay high. So here's to hoping they stay high!
