I'm going to start this out with a caveat. I'm not asking for advice, like "Am I in labor, internet strangers that can't possibly know?" Or saying that I don't realize that it could be weeks and weeks, I'm just sharing my potential excitement. So ease those angry fingers off the keyboard, mamas.
Since last night, I've started getting really irregular contractions that feel different that my usual braxton hicks. They hurt more, make me breathe a little heavier (I can still talk and do stuff, though) and wake me up if I'm asleep. I keep having to run to the bathroom too, TMI. Unfortunately, the contractions aren't getting any longer, stronger or closer together, so it's obviously some sort of baby prep going on in there. It's just fun to think that she may be an outside baby soon! I'm 37 weeks today and last week the Dr. was saying that everything seems good to go whenever she decides to get here. On another note, my 3 year old nephew is CONVINCED he's going to get a cousin today. He's been saying it all week. 3 year old predictions are fool proof, right? :P Cross your fingers. It'd be the best Christmas present of all time.

I've been having some more intense symptoms myself today. I try to keep hope and impatience at bay, but I just can't keep myself from hoping!

When DH woke up this morning the first thing he said to me was "are you in labor yet?!" I think he is starting to get impatient.
Good luck! I've been having them since Thursday. They'll get intense and consistent for 1 to 2 hours and then back off. So far, I am only 1cm dilated, but getting more and more effaced. I hope it goes much faster for you than me!
No dice! It kind of tapered off. I'm going to the grocery store in a minute though (to satisfy a craving .. no judging :P).So, hopefully a little walking around will get things going again!
