any other crawlers out there?

About a week ago LO learned how to transition to a sit from her belly and crawl (she can do about 6-7 paces now).  It's SO cute but WOW is she keeping me busy!  Anyone else?

I have had a crawler for a few weeks. Gets a bit faster each day. Now can go from sitting to crawling to sitting again and pull up on stuff to his knees. Have to keep a close eye on him!

We are in the same postion as you two, Shayne doesnt really like sitting that much. I am pretty happy to get his jumperoo for christmas because I think since he likes standing so much that he is really going to enjoy it,

Caleb was rolling belly to back at 7 weeks, back to belly at 11weeks, crawling at 5 mon and walking at 10mon. Beware lol! Your LO will probably walk early too

 Hunter is perfectly content just chilling in the bumbo or playmat and I'm good w that! Once they start moving on their own, watch out!

Yes! I swear he has no desire to sit whatsoever, he just constantly pulls up to standing when he grabs my hands, I am like dude come on. 

On the plus side I am getting guns from having to hold him up!

I should add he rolls all over the floor now so even though he's not crawling he still gets to where he needs to go and I have to constantly monitor him when he's on the floor.

Yup! E is starting to be on the move! She is great at army crawling and within this past week has learned how to get up on her knees! We have been in baby proofing mode!

This for me, too!  My guy loves to stand.  And he has been that was since he was still a newborn... no one believed me until they saw it themselves. 

We were waiting in line at the mall yesterday to see Santa and he got antsy and fussy.  So I knelt down and held him to let him "stand" and he stopped fussing.  I felt weird doing that in the middle of the line but, hey, whatever works!

But no crawling in sight yet.

LO loves her Jumperoo and standing as well! 

I know I am in "trouble"!  This girl is on the move!  I'll admit... I broke down and bought a play yard (AKA cage) so that I'd be able to go to the bathroom, make dinner, etc.  We were going to buy baby gates but we're in a rental and it was going to cost $450 to baby gate due to wide door openings.  It didn't seem worth it since we'll probably need different sizes in the home we do purchase.

Henry is 6 months today but no crawling here.  Like a few PPs he is sitting up with assistance and can do a few seconds unassisted (but I have seen him pull himself up to a perfect seated position when in his bouncer chair with just his stomach muscles so...I'm thinking he just needs to get his balance figured out) but he LOVES to stand and will hold himself in the standing position while holding onto me or whatever.

For all those with kids who love to stand vs sit: that was Anderson too. If I tried to sit him on the floor he would straighten his legs out and stand instead. Then one day he just decided he would sit and he sat there for 5 minutes then took off crawling.

This sounds just like Austin right now, anytime I try to sit him down its legs straigtened and he wants nothing to do with it, so I have to sit him in between my legs just to get him to actually SIT. haha

This is where we are also. I'm excited to see him crawl but I can wait awhile because I still need to baby proof and I love the newborn phase that we are still in.
