Listen to this BS

My mom informed me that my little brother's fiancee will probably be stopping by later tonight at out family Christmas. (They were broken up for a while and recently got back together.) This girl is immature and hasn't been nice to any of us in the past.

She wanted to give me heads up so I can help her put the alcohol away quickly when she arrives. We have punch and wine. No one gets drunk, but we have a few drinks. I guess it's against this girl's religion to drink and my family doesn't want her to be offended on Christmas.

I guess it's not against her religion to screw another guy while being engaged. I really just started laughing on the phone when I heard this BS. I triple dog dare anyone to pry the wine glass from my hand.

Um, are you kidding me?  You aren't forcing her to drink it.  How on earth is it "offensive" to have it around.   SHE can not drink - that's fine and that's her choice.

I actually find it offensive that you're expected to scramble and "hide" the alcohol in YOUR OWN HOME because ONE person has an issue with it.

 If she's "offended" then she doesn't have to come.  Your family drinks, she's marrying into your family.  To hide it now is to only set up the stupid expectation tha tyou all won't have alcohol when she's around.

Seriously, WTF. No, you drink and be merry. If she can't be around booze, she has no business marrying into your family.  (not that you are a lush, YKWIM)

That is total BS! My ILs are Mormon so there's never alcohol at their houses. You better believe that when I host there's booze. They aren't offended or if they are they keep it to themselves.

Hell this year I wish I could have some alcohol. Have some for me?

Yeah, I laughed my ass off at that one and so did my aunt (who works for CPS and has an adopted child that they drank around since day 1).

 

 

And yes, whore allergies are terrible. I am pretty sure alcohol cures that though, so you need it around.
