Benadryl is approved, I'm not sure about Claritin though. I would stick with Benadryl if I were in the situation. GL!

Benadryl, Claritin, and Zyrtec are safe. No Allegra, and nothing with decongestant in in. So regular, instead of Claritin-D.

This. Benadryl knocks me out so be careful if you take that.

Benedryl or Claritin (or Zyrtec). Not D, like pp said. Benedryl makes me sleep, so I wouldn't take it and try to socialize.

I was told no Zyrtec.  Claritin and Benadryl are the only two allergy meds my midwife advised me to take.  Claritin does nothing for me so Benadryl is it!

I believe in a lot of things. I believe in fresh tennis balls, the healing power of bunnies, and that the novels of Susan Sontag are something I'll never read. In fact, I don't even know who Susan Sontag is. What is she... like... a painter? I believe in Crystal Lite because I believe in ME. I believe in the movies of Val Kilmer, though these days it ain't so easy. I believe in Darren Sproles, the word "dabble", the first season of "Silk Stockings", and big, warm, moist, gooey chocolate chip cookies that melt in your mouth and all over your face.

Unless things have changed since my pg with my son. . Zyrtec, Claritin, Benadryl and Xyzal are safe to take.  No D.  So, no Clarinex, Allergra, etc.
