Tornadoes for Christmas? No thanks.

Ugh the weather forecast for LO's first Christmas is "strong, violent tornadoes". That puts a damper on the celebration a little! I wish we were home where we have a basement, instead we are at my parents in the middle of nowhere with no safe place to go. This is the first big tornado outbreak forecasted since LO was born, so it is stressing me out. Darn you southern weather, I wanted snow not rain!
Sorry for the vent! Just had to get it out!

Oh no! Tornados terrify me. Luckily we haven't had to deal with a warning since LO has been here. I completely panic in bad weather and go straight for the basement. So I wouldguess be a nervous wreck in your situation! Stay safe!

Thanks ladies! We are actually contemplating leaving early tomorrow to get home before the bad weather gets there. I would just feel much better if I could get LO to the basement if need be. It will put us skipping Christmas at my grandmothers, which is not going to go over well. Gotta keep the babe safe though!
