updates, and surprises

So much has gone on this month. The mold problem in my apartment is supposed to be fixed. While we were out we also had them fix a few other things, and are finally going back tonight. The issue better be fixed for good.

For my own reasons, I was ready to stop pumping. Well I wanted to a long time ago, but I've held up for four months. I am only pumping once a day now. It feels so good to go to sleep when I'm tired instead of staying up to pump. I actually got to go to bed, and cuddle with SO 3 nights in a row.

We started supplementing yesterday. We do bottles half BM, half formula. Using similac soy formula. So far so good. LO even slept from 9:30pm to 7am instead of waking once at 4.

I had asked my sister if we could stay here just one more night because we didn't have a Christmas tree at home. By no means is she kicking us out of here, I was just asking. I had texted her this because we are watching her kids so she can finish Christmas shopping.

I guess she sent a text to my SO telling him what I said. He says to me, "we can stay at our apartment tonight. We have a tree. I was going to surprise you." I started crying lol.

Apparently him, and my sister's husband looked for hours yesterday for a real tree. Finally found them, but couldn't find a tree stand. Artificial works for me, but then they found out half the lights don't work. No time to go back out now because we both work soon. At least we have a tree for our baby's first Christmas. I'm so happy.

Ahw, good old SO. I'm glad he was so thoughtful! I hope you guys have a great first Christmas with Jayson!

Thank god they took care of that mold. That was nonsense.

EPing is tough and you made it 4 months...congratulations! Not everyone can do it and it definitely is a major pain in the azz, but you did it for 120 days, which is more than amazing!
