XP: Nutramigen users

Those of you that are using Nurtramigen did it take awhile for your LO to get use to the taste and eat it?

My girls are 3 months. We were told by our pediatrician we should switch the girls since they are still having trouble with their reflux and are now on the highest dose of meds. He believes most is caused by slow digestion.

We are going on day 3, both are not eating much, 1 to 2 oz every 3 hrs and seem to always be crying out because they are hungry. Our ped said to continue and we would see them eat more at 5 days. Basically, a baby won't starve themselves.
I feel aweful and want to give up. I'm in tears for them. Any advice or words of encouragement is much appreciated. Two crying, hungry babies is so difficult.

It an take a few days to a week for a baby to adjust to a new formula. We were on nutramigen and then went to Alimentum. DS had a little easier time with Alimentum, but both have the same ingredients. I'd talk to your pedi if they aren't eating, maybe they have some suggestions for you.

My LO was switched to Nutramigen at 4 months and he didn't even notice the difference. It smells awful and tastes terrible, but he didn't seem to mind. 

It may take a bit for them to get used to the taste, but hang in there! I'm sure this must be so frustrating.
