Christmas BFN Vents

Well, I need to vent here a little bit. I had hopes that with two mature follies, high Ssperm count on my IUI #2 we would recieve a BFP and our little Christmas miracle would be conceived. Well, AF is due tomorrow and I am 14DPO with BFN test with FMU every morning. I know my period is coming and to say the least I am beyond depressed. I know it's not completely over until she rears her bloody head, but like I said, know it's a matter of time. 

Any success stories to share for moments like this, or any ladies want to commiserate on Christmas BFN's? Please add thoughts.

The holidays are going to be extra tough this year around my neice and nephew and all my prego friends. I'm really just having a hard time motivating myself to not cry.

 This BFN represents so much-like where do we go from here? Do I even bother with monitored injectable cycles or do I just go toward IVF. We're 100% self pay and I've already spent thousands. What to do? I just was praying we could've conceived organilcally or with less evasive measures, but done is the hope of clomid and IUI.

I'm cautiously optimistic!

waiting on the call for confirmation of a bfn by beta. this is after a m/c and a sister having a baby at thanksgiving...mh and i are sitting out on christmas this year. it is just too hard.

IUI 8-12 and 9-12 failed
IVF 12-21-2012 - 2 I think perfect no matter what the dr graded them (2B)embryos transferred Beta on 12-31-12 Positve - Beta is 21
Beta 2 1-2-13 - 31
Beta 3 1-4-13 - 53
Beta 4 1/9 - 212!
Ultrasound 1/10 - Nothing completely empty uterus Beta 1/14 - 743; Beta 1/17 - 1704 ultrasound shows nothing. Officially a miscarriage. 1/21 Beta 3900 Dr. says it ectopic. Ultrasound shows a miracle heartbeat right in the uterus where it belongs! Dr. says I can be cautiously optomistic!!! Hang in there baby!

I can relate to this. I'm 12 dpiui. It was my first one and I was so hopeful that it would work. I tested this morning and got a BFN. I know that I'm not completely out of the race yet but I can feel AF getting ready to show her ugly face. To make matters worse, I got on Facebook this morning and saw that two people had announced their pregnancies. It's so depressing!!

I feel your pain. Bfn for ivf number2 came friday and af showed up w a vengeance this morning. Its making me feel so sick i dont want to go to my inlaws tonight. Also we are hitting our 2 year anniversary of ttc our first. There just isnt enough alcohol to handle the holidays this year.

Me:28 DH:28 TTC since 1/11 Dx: unexplained IF/early DOR
Feb'12- Clomid/TI with CD3 &21 labs(normal)& SA-count 6mil/ml,morph/motil OK-BFN
April'12 Ultrasounds,HSG -clear, slight acurate uterus
5/14 IUI #1-50 mg clomid-post wash total motile count 19.3 prometrium 2dpiui= BFN
6/11-IUI #2-100 mg clomid & prometrium post wash count total motile 17.5 = BFN
7/6 IUI#3 with 100 mg clomid, estridiol, prometrium. post wash total motile count 23.3 = BFN
8/30IVF#1 BCPs, Follistim, Menopur,Ganerelix,Novarel.
ER 9/11-8R, 7M, 5F.
ET 9/14 2 embies transferred. 1 10cell Grade 4, 1 8cell Grade 4. No frosties. BFN
IVF#2 BCPs, Follistim, Menopur, Ganerelix, Novarel, Baby Aspirin
ER 12/5-16R, 12M, 8F!
ET 12/10 5dt! 1 fully expanded blast & 1 early blast. No frosties. BFN
2/13- Saline sono revealed a polyp. All additional labwork coming back normal. Genetic screen revealed DH has MTHFR deficiency & I am a carrier for it.
3/13 hysteroscopy & polypectomy
3/27 Began working with Reproductive Immunologist Dr. Kwak-Kim. Found High NK cells, High DHEAs, slight hypothyroidism, tendency toward blood clots (High PAI-1)Began synthroid & metformin 4/19.

I had a failed IVF Thanksgiving gift. The holidays have been especially hard. Did anyone catch The Simpsons episode yesterday? I ended up crying at the end of it coupled with the email I had just readyet another BFP from a friend in high school. Ba humbug indeed.
TTC #1 since 2008. IUI #1: Clomid+trigger=BFN. IUIs #2-4: Femara+Follistim+trigger=BFNs.
IVF #1, Nov 2012: Bravelle+Menopur. 17R, 12M (all ICSIed), 6F. 5 day transfer of 2 embies=BFN. 2 embies frozen.
FET #1: started BCPs April 2013.

I'm sorry your cycle isn't turning out the way you were hoping. As far as what to do next of course it's always a personal decision. But for us, also 100 percent OOP we figured we might as well do whatever we could to get the best odds, which was IVF. Yea it's more money but the odds are higher. Check with your dr to see if they have a shared responsibility program. I wasn't aware that mine did until I began considering IVF and expressed financial concerns. Thanks to all of you sweet ladies. It's great to hear from others who empathize with my situation.

My fears were confirmed this mornining when I woke up this Christmas morning to AF. Ughh, needless to say I had a pretty crappy Xmas.

I know how you all feel. I had to block literally half my FB friends (you know the pregnant ones that post constantly and show up in your feeds). Also just found out yesterday one of my best friends who didn't want "another" baby is pregnant again (I just one want ONE for the love of GOD!) ! I have so many pg friends, I feel like I am just becoming a bad friend cause I have a hard time being enthusiatic for them. I dread the baby showers. Any ways you ladies cope with this?

I wish I had some words of comfort for you ladies with the failed IVF's. My heart truly breaks for you and I know there is no comfort that can be offered to that loss.

I do, however, take into consideration the success rates of IVF versus everything else the dr. suggests. Even though I know I risk $20k out of pocket for something that may or may not work. the cost benefit analysis versus injectable monitored cycles seems to be more worthwhile.

I truly wish we all would've received the Chrsitmas "gifts" we all deserve. I'm sorry ladies. I comiserate.
