37 weeks and suddenly so sleepy...

How about you?  I've been sleeping 7 hours a night for most of the pregnancy.  Now, I am tired unless I get 9 - weird for me.  How much sleep do you need?  Is it more the last few weeks?

You get 7-9 hours of sleep....in a row?  I'm lucky to get 5 hours with 2.5 being my max at one time!  I'm off work now though so I plan to nap lots these last few weeks!

I did find it kind of weird to all of a sudden be exhausted without doing ANYTHING. But yeah, I am still this way. It started a couple weeks ago, I get few energy bursts and am sleepy or just lethargic majority of the time.

On the weekends all I want to do is nap every couple of hours. This started at the beginning of my 3rd tri, so... Not sure if that's helpful?

Lol - not in a row.  But usually I'm fine on 6 hours (12am - 6am) and now I am not.  This includes getting up at night to pee a lot or just waking up.  But since it's vacation, I've been taking naps every day and trying to sleep in (DH is great about that).  It's just weird because I don't normally require this much sleep!

Starting around 34 weeks, I got exhausted. At 35/36 weeks, I was getting 12 hours of sleep at night (with potty breaks, of course) and still felt exhausted/needed a nap during the day. It's gotten a little better, but I still feel wiped! I think it's normal. It's a lot of work!

Exhaustion was my top symptom in 1st Tri... I could sleep 12hrs and still feel like a zombie. Then right at 27ish weeks 3rd Tri hit me like a ton of bricks w/ the same thing.

Luckily it has gone away again so far... but w/ 7wks to go anything could happen!

I wonder about this too! I can't do anything without getting completely exhausted.

Are you still taking your prenatals? If so, talk to your doctor about adding iron. When I told my doctor I was getting exhausted, especially after baby did her daily aerobics, he  put me back on my prenatals (I had stopped taking them because I was so sick and the size of the pills would activate my gag reflex so i couldn't keep them down) and told me to add iron. Since I've been back on them I'm not nearly as worn out.

Sadly, yes, I'm on my prenatals and iron!
