mabenner1:I don't have much experience with the allergies, but switching formulas frequently and often can cause a lot of tummy trouble. I know they say to give Lo 2 weeks on a type before switching.
His face was blowing up like will smith in Hitch after a week on formula nutramigen LIPIL. So, I wasn't going to give that two weeks. We stuck with the natures one dairy for a month and he did beautifully. Now dr says, no. He's allergic to milk. Now on similac alimentum and he gets hives all over his face with every bottle..but since no one is giving me answers, Im supposed to stick it out for a few more weeks? I have a huge fear his lungs aren't going to be able to take it much longer. So frustrated with a one size fits all diagnosis. Thanks for the reply though.
