Sick as a dog

I have my 1st appt on Wednesday so until I can ask the doctor what i can and can't take  I just feel awful. A girl I work close to has bronchitis and while I tried to stay away and wash my hands all the time I'm now coming down with an awful cold which is how hers started. All I've done so far is taken a little extra vitamin c, probiotics and cough drops/Vicks. Any other tips to get me through tomorrow. 

She was sick for over 1 month so I'm not shocked it finally hit me. I hate taking meds to begin with but I also hate being miserable...on Christmad no less.

I had bronchitis a few weeks ago and the dr prescribed antibiotics but also told me I could take robitussin dm and tylenol to help with the symptoms. I hope you feel better!

I had an awful case of sinus infection that I seriously thought was the flu! The doctor gave me amoxicillin and said I can use Tylenol and Benadryl. I'm still getting over it but since I couldn't get the very potent zpack stuff, the amoxicillin takes its sweet time. If you're able to, I'd go to the doctor sooner rather than later to get something to help you. Hope you feel better!

Thanks. I'm going to call around this morning and see if any urgent cares are open if not I guess my only option is the ER :
I had a flu shot but it could be that too.

Ugh I'm right there with you. I am so sick today! I have a fever, cough, and chest pains so I'm thinking it is either the flu or bronchitis. Boooo...

I've had my fever since last night but I don't know of anyone who is sick! I stay home with DS and neither he nor DH is sick. I suppose I'll just wait to see how I feel in a couple of days. Man I dislike being sick!

I actually have a terrible headcold and cough all of a sudden too so I called my OBGYN nurses line this morning to find out what I could take. They told me plain sudafed, tylenol and either dyslum or robittusin DM. If you want to make sure your doctor agrees you can always call and leave them a message or ask to speak with a nurse. Hope you feel better soon :-)
