Aww that is awesome. We stayed home as well and MIL, SFIL and SIL all came over and stayed until after 6pm. It was very relaxing and we had lasagna with salad and garlic bread.
I did miss going to my grandparents house, but until 3days ago they were not doing anything. My side of the family surprised them with a get together. But I didn't miss DS getting over stimulated.
