Christmas Name Theme

Merry Christmas, BNB!

Just wanted to share that I met a woman named Holly whose siblings are Noel and Garland. Apparently they were all winter babies too, but just one in December.

Garland is NMS, but I think the theme is cute. What do you ladies think?

Garland is hardly made up. It was really popular about 100 years ago. It's an old man name, like Walter.

The theme is kind of cute, but nms.

It's kind of cute! Reminds me of two sib sets I've known one was Egypt f Pharoah m and Moses m and the other was Emerald, Ruby, Sapphire, all females, and their brother was Beryl.

I'm usually not a fan of themes. This one doesn't seem as obvious right offhand such as Hope, Faith and Joy or Ruby, Emerald, and Sapphire. I do think it would be weird if they were summer babies.

Garland is my dad's mn. He hates I it and was like I wonder where in the hell my parents got that one! I have to agree, Garland is a lil strange.

I think intentional themes are gross no matter what. If you love flowers and choose two flower names, fine. If you happen to love a couple names that begin with the same letter, fine. If you limit yourself to only those names and after a couple kids start thinking, "Well, I guess we could deal with, uh, Garland?" then yuck.

It's cheesy, but I don't hate it.

My HS boyfriend was from a Christmas themed family - Noel, Nicholas, Christopher and Natalie. I like that it wasn't an obvious theme.
