Oh man, I am sorry. I wouldn't be very excited about this either.
MIL watches DS and we are so grateful for that, however, some of the things she allows DS to have to eat, I am not happy with. They give DS soda. Most of the time, it's sips here and there or really watered down, but they never consulted us about if it was ok. DS asks for it at our house, but I have told him it's a special treat he gets only at MiMi's and Peepaw's. They also once didn't notice he had stolen an ENTIRE plate of cookies and ate them all. Yes, all of them! And now, my MIL gets DS McDonald's fries on a regular basis, so he asks for them a lot. When we pass McDonald's, he also starts to ask for them. I don't want to cause an argument, I have nicely said several times to limit the amount of junk he gets and that we don't allow him to have soda at our house. Ah, choose my battles, I guess.
