better reaction than i expected :)

I was so worried about telling my father because he's always underreacted or made harsh comments about big life events in the past. I have to say I'm truly touched. He teared up & was asking all the when are you due, how are you feeling, etc questions. I know this may not sound like a lot but wow seriously the interest & how proud he looked was just something I've never seen from my father directed toward me.

Now to do it all again tomorrow with hubby's family. I'm exhausted! Good luck to everyone else sharing the news over Christmas. & Merry Christmas all!!

Saw him again Christmas morning & the only thing my father wants to talk about is the baby! & he's going on about what does he want to be called - grandpa or poppop etc. So cute! I still cant believe this is my father. Just makes me feel so good that hes so excited to be a grandpa :)
