jLeigh0709:4:20. Wow. Worst night ever. I tried to get M to sleep through 1:30 when I finally had to ask DH to take over. I had been nursing M on and off for the past 3 hours. He would latch on and fall asleep. I'd put him in his bassinet and 5 min later he would wake up screaming to eat. I told DH just to give him formula because I was so tired.
He cried with DH until DH put him in the swing and he slept for a little over an hour. Then woke up hungry again. DH made him a bottle but M was having a hard time with it so he kept crying. I got up and took over because DH was getting frustrated.
Now he's fighting sleep still. I'm trying to rock him but it looks like I'm not sleeping tonight. We have Christmas at my grams and I almost just want to say we're not going anymore...
that stinks, hope you get some rest soon.
W has been faking me out for the last two hours. She's grunting in her sleep, I get up thinking she's awake and go in to get her and she's sawing logs. DH gave her a bottle at a little after 10 last night and put her down. It's nearly 6 am now! She's sleeping a little longer each night. I was afraid that I wasn't going to have another champion sleeper like DD is, but she may have just picked up that trait from big sis. Merry Christmas to me!
So, now I am just up and waiting for DD to come bouncing out of her bed and land in front of the tree. I am so excited to see her opening gifts this year. Then we have breakfast and pack up the girls and head to my moms for Christmas with my brothers, SILs and all the kids. Is gonna be a noisy day. Get all 11 of the kids in one room ( all between the ages of 9 and 1 month) and its gets rowdy. It's awesome!
