Its not suppose to happen on Christmas ...

So yesterday all my symptoms went away. I tried to ignore it and stay positive. All afternoon the heavy cramps started. The really deep painful ones I got right before my Dc last time. Been wearing a pad since yesterday. No blood yet but the cramps are getting more intense. I refuse to go to ER. There is nothing they can do anyways. I cant take pain meds until the heavy bleeding starts and I know for sure. I called my ob to go in first thing tomorrow. My mom could tell something was wrong and asked if I was pregnant. I told her yes but its probably not going to work out again this time. To top it off I have to work 3 to 11 tonight. Its Christmas and there is no way I can find someone to cover. Atleast I work at a hospital so if it gets bad I wont have to go far. This has been the worse Christmas ever. Well probably tied with the year I found out my parents were getting divorced. I will post a for sure update Wednesday but its not looking like I'm going to be sticking around. Lots of hugs and prayers are needed. So sad. My heart is breaking into a thousand pieces again.

Oh honey.  I'm so terribly sorry this is happening.  You're right, this is not suppose to happen on Christmas.  It's not suppose to happen ever.  I wish there were more I could say or do to make it easier.  For now, I give you big (((hugs))) and prayers of peace and healing.  I'm so sorry.

I'm so sorry to see this today ... But I hope for a Christmas miracle for you. I cramped so much in the beginning, so I hope that's all it is for you. Thinking of you.
Holy heck, we're pregnant again! Please stay here with us little Otter.

We have a heartbeat! 138 beats per minute and measuring right on track. Ultrasound 11/7/12 showed heartbeat in the 160s. Negative MaterniT21 results ... Found out at Anatomy Scan we're Team Blue!

I'm so sorry, and I really hope everything is ok. FWIW, with DD I had such awful cramping that I was waking up doubled over in the middle of the night, convinced I was miscarrying. It was unfathomable to me how an embryo could stay put with my uterus cramping that heavily. Obviously sometimes cramping is bad, but not always, so here's to hoping that you have a Christmas miracle and get good news!!

I'm so sorry that you're dealing with this stress on today of all days, and I hope that your mom is supportive. As other ladies have said, I too had some awful cramping in the first few weeks. I hope your worries turn out to be unfounded.
