Worried

I need someone to (hopefully) talk me down. I'm 26w2d and baby is usually very active. Today he is moving but not as much. I've checked with my doppler and he has a good HB. Should I be worried and call the doctor on call on Christmas? I would drink some OJ or something but we don't have any, and all the stores are closed. I'm starting to panic...

Keep in mind your baby still has a good amount of room in there and could be somewhere that you don't feel him as much. If you don't have OJ you could have something else with sugar, a piece of candy or something and drink some cold water and get the same effect. If it'd make you feel better you could go in to be monitored but if you found his heart beat and feel some movement I don't think there is really anything they will do for you. I'm sorry your lo is worrying you today, I hope that you feel some more movement and can enjoy the rest of your day.

I'm sorry you are worried. I'm guessing things are good because you have a good hr on Doppler!! That's got to make you feel better. With my las pregnancy there were days with lots if movement and days with less. He could just be sleeping. Keep an eye on things and if you are still concerned a call may make you feel better. I'm sure you ob will be pleased your baby has a good hr. have a wonderful day!

I have days where Vince is facing my back, and I don't feel him all day at all, then suddenly I will stop moving and lay down or I will feel him flip around and BAM there it is!

Also remember, if you are like me and been up and about for Christmas, the motion of you moving kind of rocks them to sleep or soothes them, so they say. I know I've been up constantly and I only felt him moving really a lot when I stopped and sat down for awhile or while I was laying in bed. I'd feel him sometimes when I was up, but not nearly as often when I wasn't as busy. I hope this eases your fears, Mama! I know I've been neurotic about it too. Merry Christmas!

I know how scary it can be but honestly I wouldn't call my OB about it at that point in pregnancy.  At 26 weeks there were days that I felt no movement at all and still at 37 weeks, some days she is very active and others not so much.  My OB was not concerned about consistent movement until at least 28 weeks.
