So far everything is a hit

The kids are still playing with their gifts. Breakfast was served and cleaned up. Roast is still in the crock. Now I just need a drink. How is everyone else's holiday going?

Pretty good so far. Had our little family celebration at home, went to my family's house for gifts and breakfast and are now at my inlaws to see extended family and will have dinner and presents here.

Going pretty good here. Mollusk loved everything and has given up her old Lovie for the Kermit that my ILs got here.
I'm totally exhausted and am feeling pretty crummy but the day itself has been nice so far.?

I got my period so I have intense pain, but otherwise if has been great. DH really really nailed my gifts this year and LO has seemed to really like hers. In fact I've been in the bedroom with a heating pad and DH has been playing with his new laptop and LO has been playing with her toys. By herself (mostly). When my kid plays by herself for hours, you know something is going right!

The bad news is I'm totally not up for cooking so we had PBJ for lunch.

Pretty good!  DS just went down for a nap but before that he played with his new vacuum toy for about 2 and a half hours.  He actually was holding one hand on the vacuum while he tried to play with other toys as well because he didn't want to put it down, lol!  

Now that we've gotten through Christmas morning, I'm ready to have this baby any time!!!

H is working for 2.5 more hours, C is playing with his toys and watching YGG. I'm still recovering from the flu but it's the first day that feels like recovery and not still sick. It's a lazy stay at home day.

It's snowing. Big Smile Like, ground is covered in snow. After going to bed to rain and waking up to sleet. Storm

 Just me, DH, and the cats, so no family stress. Cats went nuts over their new toys, so I consider the morning a success.

Chili in the crockpot. That'll be lunch in another hour or so, with cornbread, and dinner later on with baked potatoes.

It took FOREVER to open presents because DS wanted to play with every single thing he opened (probably a good sign).

My favorite part of this morning was when I was teasing DH about some stocking stuffers.  I said, "Come on, who hates candy?" and DS said "Me!!!!!!!" After a bit of questioning I realized that he just doesn't know what the word 'hate' means.   I don't know why, but it really warmed my heart.

We had a good Christmas. Nora was very excited to open presents and cheered (Yay!) after she opened each one. DH and I splurged on a couple of bigger "family" gifts as well as exchanging some smaller gifts as well.

My first ever breakfast casserole was a big hit. Doggies got their Christmas treats. We ate lunch and exchanged gifts with the ILs.

Now we're home and pretty much crashed. :)

Spence did the same thing. He would open a present, play with it for at least 20 Minutes and then open another. It was precious!
