An acquaintance had a baby girl this morning. Named her Em.marie. :S I like Emory and Emery (even keeping in mind that it's a boy name)...but Em.marie? Looks all smooshie and wrong to me.

The first time I ever met anyone with the name, she spelled it Emmarie, so it sorta looks normal to me. I had another student who spelled it Emery, though.
Interesting.
I also know someone who had a baby recently that has a new smoosh name - Addi.sten. Guessing it's a mix of Addison and Anniston? *shrug*
