I loved dd's first Christmas. I didn't have expectations, so things turned out great. I was tickled that her favorite toy (so far) from today is the simple taggy ball that I made her. I've always wanted to make homemade gifts for my children, so I'm glad I pulled off a success for her first Christmas.
If I could change one thing, I would have loved for dd to be interested in the lights on the tree. I had visions of her being mesmerized by them, but in reality she couldn't have cared less.
