This group is open to anyone who has Diminished Ovarian Reserve or Premature Ovarian Failure (sometimes also called Primary Ovarian Insufficiency – POI). 

 

This check-in will be posted each Wednesday.  If you’d like to be added to this group, please reply to this message, and I’ll make sure to add you for next week.  Welcome to the lurkers!  We know this can be a difficult journey, but we welcome you with open arms.  Let us know if we can answer any questions.

Loveniz – Got testing back and it was normal, HSG showed Hydrosalpinx on left, no surgery at this time. If not successful on own by Feb will move to IUI or IVF

We will begin the IVF process in February with ER in March. Right now I am on a slew of vitamins and will be starting estrogen with my next period. We had to wait for an opening for PGS testing and March was the quickest they could get us in.

  QOTW: My favorite gift was a "shutterfly" scrapbook of all of my grandparents Christmas cards back to 1945 that my aunt and uncle gave our entire family. It was so much fun to read and see all of the pictures of everyone from so many years ago. What a great gift.

Retested AMH, dropped to undetectable at <.16.

 ceemonkey, I've been thinking about you! *hugs*

 

Status Update: I started BCP last Friday and should start lupron next week for our FET which should be late Jan or even early Feb. I won't know for sure until I get my calendar after the beginning of the year. Our donor family added me to facebook and has been sharing photos of her son (from the same DEmbryos) and it has been really heartwarming to see him. He's absolutely beautiful.

 

QOTW: From a tangible gift standpoint, DH got me a beautiful heartshaped pendant necklace that I LOVE and am wearing right now. But all in all a good Christmas eve and Christmas day with family and friends was the best gift I got. We had such a horrific Christmas last year that we felt like we got robbed of it altogether in 2011. I wanted 2012 to make up for it so I went all out with elaborate Christmas eve and Christmas day activities, meals, etc and it really came together perfectly and lived up to what I had hoped. That was the best gift I could ask for.

 

I hope everyone else had a good Holiday and a wonderful new year in 2013!

3/27/13 - No heartbeat at 9w0d. D&C the following day.

4/23/13 - Matched to adopt five new embryos!

Hi everyone, thankful that someone pointed me to this check in, as it's my first.  I just got lab report back today stating AMH was 0.43 so I'm kind of shocked and angry and just trying to take it all in.  Previous treatment is in sig. this cycle has been just repeat testing (HSG normal again, SA normal again) and I have an appointment tomorrow with RE to see which protocol to do.  We are hopefully doing IVF in Feb.  (I am going to beg to start in Jan tomorrow though!).  

QOTW: My husband got me a 2.5 hour spa relaxation package and I was so thankful that I get to try to be stress free going into the treatment cycle.  Now to ask the RE to make sure I can do it before stimming. :)

BFN. RPL testing shows homo MTHFR and hetero PAI-1. IVF #2 antagonist-ER 5/14 8R 6M 5F. Three day transfer of 3 embies. 6 cell grade 3, 4 cell grade 2, 5 cell grade 3. Hoping and praying. Hi ladies, I hope everyone is having a good holiday.

Update: I had my beta last Friday, which was 8dp5dt, it came in at 12. I had a repeat test while out of town on Christmas Eve and because of the holiday the lab was short staffed and I didn't get my results until just a few minutes ago, and it was 78 (11dp5dt). They want me to repeat again so we'll see what's going on.

QOTW: Years ago my mom started collecting all my old t-shirts from high school and college and this year she gave me the quilt she made using all those old shirts. It's awesome, I love it!

Update: I am 7 DPO today, so looks like my cylces are back to my ususal with early O on CD 11. We had good timing, but I am scared of all the what if's involved in the process.

QOTW: My favorite gift this year is being able to start on some home improvement projects - kitchen update and painting the guest bath.

Will be starting patch in 9 days.  Hopefully ER will end of January.

My favorite gift was from my parents.  They know all the stress we've been under so they gave us a weekend away at  Wentworth By the Sea in New Hampshire.  It is beautiful there.  We are going to have a couples massage.  We will be going next weekend... what better way to celebrate the start of my final protocol using my OE!

First u/s perfect little heart beat at 116 bpm. Measure 6 weeks 1 day. EDD 10/14/13 3/4/13 measuring right on track beautiful heartbeat 171 bpm, graduated from RE to OB... bittersweet. Nothing new here... Getting in patient and a little anxiety latley! Have to go to the chiropractor tomorrow because I jacked up my neck bad! Going to be calling my RE next week and talking about possibly starting antagonist or microdose lupron in jan instead of feb. I'm so sick of waiting around! I'm over this two month break!

Checking in for the first time. We are starting Stims on on the 8th with ER planned near the 20th.

 My best gift was a Sephora makeup collection I'd been eyeing - a surprise from an observant DH :)
