Hey everyone! I just started my second week of BCPs and go in on Monday for b/w and u/s and should start Lupron that day. Everything is still on track for ER the week of 1/21.

QOTD: I've only celebrated Christmas with my side of the family so far (we'll celebrate with the ILs on Sunday), but so far my favorite gift is a pair of earrings I got from my husband, he's great at picking out unique jewelry that I like!

Status Update: I started BCP last Friday and will start lupron next week. I should get my official calendar on Jan 2. Our embryo donor added me to facebook and has been sharing photos of her son (from the same DEmbryos) and it has been really heartwarming to see him. He's absolutely beautiful.

 

QOTW: From a tangible gift standpoint, DH got me a beautiful heartshaped pendant necklace that I LOVE and am wearing right now. But all in all a good Christmas eve and Christmas day with family and friends was the best gift I got. We had such a horrific Christmas last year that we felt like we got robbed of it altogether in 2011. I wanted 2012 to make up for it so I went all out with elaborate Christmas eve and Christmas day activities, meals, etc and it really came together perfectly and lived up to what I had hoped. That was the best gift I could ask for.

 

I hope everyone else had a good Holiday and a wonderful new year in 2013!

2/11/13 - Thawed four, sadly two didn't survive. Transferred two beautiful blasts.

2/16/13 - First BFP of my life!
3/27/13 - No heartbeat at 9w0d. D&C the following day.

4/23/13 - Matched to adopt five new embryos!

Tomorrow is my baseline u/s and b/w and all systems should be a go to start my stims and MDL tomorrow night!! Which is highly anticipated since I'm stuck in a migraine "loop" from AF and my stims are the only thing that will make it go away!!!

 

QOTD:  MH's Aunt from Phoenix mailed a book to me as a Xmas/Housewarming present but it was about keeping house on a budget. I LOVE books about housekeeping stuff (I never do things from the books, but I like to pretend, LOL) but the best part about the book was that that author has the same name as me!!! I read her bio on the back and it sounded like MY bio!!! How weird!!!

So glad everything is on track for you! And that's so great that your embryo donor is so open with you and you can see her son! GL starting Lupron next week, I should be starting next week too, I'm looking forward to taking more than just BCPs!

Had my baseline ultrasound today and I'm not sure what to think. I had about six small follies on my right side the largest being 8mm. She said she isn't too concerned, but did send me to get my estriadol checked. I won't know the numbers till tomorrow morning, but if they are low I am good to start stims Saturday. If they're not I'm not exactly sure what happens so FX I'm all set to go on Saturday!

My favorite gift would have to be the new down comforter my MIL got DH and I! It is from LLBean and great quality. Oh and DH bought me a beautiful new watch so those are tied for favorite.

6/12 Clomid + TI +IUI=BFN 8/10 IVF consult.
IVF #1 Started BCP 9/2 Lupron 10/11 stims 10/27 ER 11/6!! 5 eggs retreived only 1 mature. FERT report shows none made it.Cancelled cycle.
IVF #2 BCP 11/18 Lupron 12/14
Stims start 12/29 ER 1/8 ET 1/11 put in 1 grade B and 1 grade C. Beta: 1/20=BFN
Second opinion at new clinic TBD
decided to stick with old clinic with new plan.
5/3 started metformin for IVF # 3 set to start in July!!!

I'm not quite a polar bear yet, but I'm sure hoping I will be. I'm almost over the recovery from my cryo, it was 2 weeks ago today. My hysteroscopy is scheduled for Friday. I've been on BCP for over a month so hopefully I will go see my RE one week post hysteroscopy and start meds then. I'll post a update on the scope findings on Friday's check-in. If that's ok, I know I'm not a polar bear yet. Well good luck ladies!!

April 2012: MRI- questionable cyst 8mg by 12mm in pituitary
referred to RE by Ob-gyn after amenorrhea x 4+ months, provera ineffective, low estrogen level
cycle 1: May 2012, clomid 50mg; cycle cancelled, thin lining, no response
cycle 2: June 2012, femara 5mg; cycle cancelled, no response
cycle 3: July 2012, femara 7.5mg; cycle cancelled (largest folli on Cd12 & cd 16: 11, lining 4)

Aug. 8: met with RE, move to injectables if HSG and SA normal
Aug. 23: HSG all clear; DH- perfect
Switched to a new RE in early Sept. IVF here we come
Genetic testing reveals: Fragile X- Intermediate risk/grey zone.
IVF#1: ER 11/30: 14 retrieved, 10 mature, 7 fertilized. E2 prior to trigger 5200. Decision made to freeze 6 embryos and transfer later due to OHSS.
IVF#1.2/FET #1: estrogen injects start 1/18, FET delayed to try to thicken lining. lining 5.4mm. FET- 2/18- transferred one 3AA expanded blast. BFP 5dp5dt. Beta #1- 2/27 9dp5dt- 102.27 beta #2 3/1: 147 :(, beta #3 3/4: 268 stop meds. #4: 269, #5 133, #6 72, still in beta hell. Beta 7 (3/25) 29.

Still on BCP.  Have consent signing next Wednesday.  Hopefully started delestrogen injects on 1/11 with FET tentatively scheduled for 1/28.

QOTD: diamond hoop earrings that DH picked out :)  I consider the 6 frosties to be our best present though.

Status update: Still on BCPs, will start micro-lupron on 1/3/13. Unfortunately, I'm pretty sure I have a yeast infection. I had never had one in my life before 3 months ago and I think I have one again. I'm blaming all of my supplements. 

QOTD: We weren't going to do presents because of IVF costs but DH surprised me with a soda stream. We drink a TON of sparkling water so now we can make it ourselves. At least it will save money in the long run :)

Hey polar bears!  My baseline u/s was Christmas Eve and I had around 8 follicles on each side all <8mm., estradiol <20.  I have been taking my MD lupron for a few days now and stims start tomorrow!  

 

Qotd: favorite gift was from my Brother in law this year! He got me a amazon prime membership so I can shop all year from the comforts of home:-)

FET is underway...I had my saline sono today and everything seemed perfect so I start lupron Friday and will stop BCPs next week! Thank goodness!

Best gift... Hmmm... Probably the fact that the adults all agreed to not exchange and to make Christmas about family the children. It relieved a lot of stress.

Hey Polar Bears! Hope everyone is having a good night. I just had my first Lupron injection and took it like a champ. It was a piece of cake, and i didn't feel a thing. I'm hoping it stays that way! 

QOTD: Hmmm...there's lots to choose from, but I would say the plane tickets from MIL's for a trip to their house in Florida was the best. I am so looking forard to a getaway in the spring, hopefully to celebrate a bfp!

Me (33)- unexplained MH (35)- MFI due to Vericocele. Straight to IVF w/ICSI 9/12, Antagonist = BFN c/p, poor quality blasts, tested sperm dna fragmentation. Results all good, yay! New RE for IVF #2- 1/13., Long Lupron. ER on 1/22 -10R, 9M, 9F. Transfer on hold due to overstimming. FET in Feb. 2 frozen blasts. Another BFN & another c/p. RPL testing all negative besides MTHFR gene, vericocle repair surgery 4/12/13-Bilateral Grade 3 Vericocele found & fixed, IVF #3 with PGS 4/13- 11R, 9M, 9F. Transferred 2 normal=BFN, 3 normal on ice Everyone Welcome!!!

Status I am set to start injections on Saturday. A little scared because it is 5 times what I used last time. I bought my husband a giant bottle of Makers Mark lol. I hope he can enjoy it and not need it because of my injections.

Gift My DH bought me a white and blue diamond pendant. It is special because he picked it out himself. 
TTC since 5/11 both uf us are >35 Clomid 4cycles pregnancy ended in MC 6/12 IUI #1,2, 3 and 4 ALL BFN. Moved on to IVF in Jan. 2013 Beta #1 288, Beta #2 529 Heartbeat on 2/8! no heart beat at 15 weeks, baby is dead.

No real update on us yet, still waiting for AF to start BCPs.  We did tell my in laws about our IF and IVF and I unexpectedly busted out in tears soon as hubby started talking!  Haha!!  Not sure how/why that happened since I was fine telling my parents and talking with hubby about it.  I think it was just weird to hear him tell it.

QOTD: The gifts we get excited about are very different than what we got excited about 20 years ago.... in laws got us a solar motion light and the Nest thermostat... EXCITED!!!!  Geeked

I had my first monitoring appt yeserday at day 5 of stims.  RE said that things "could not look any better"! I have eight 12 mm eggs and about twelve other small ones.  Re had me start Ganirelix last night.  I go in tomorrow for another monitoring appt.

Sorry a little late, just logging back into reality after the holidays :)

Update: Waiting for my meds to be delivered any moment. Dr. called yesterday out of the blue and asked how I was doing, and what I did differently between 1st and 2nd cycle. I advised hubbs supplements prob. kicked in around 3 month mark to see difference, and lost 5 pounds and was on total bedrest that was it. I was on same meds etc. They said to keep doing same thing for next cycle, and they were VERY optimistic that because of biochemical and embies next cycle might be it. First time I really felt hopeful again after last debacle. So weird being in a natural no med cycle. Techically in FW, we are not really trying though. Taking a break with all that madness. Good luck with baselines etc guys!!!!!!! <3

Hey guys....I'm still on OCP's and will add Lupron this weekend. Not looking forward to The night sweats, crazy dreams, and bloating belly with Lupron but its better than having to start over with STIMMING.
