Britax B-Safe Base

We installed our car seat bases yesterday.  The level device in mine makes a lot of noise when we drive and is quite annoying.  When we called Britax they said, "some bases do this" and they will send another one.  Now, we found out that my husband's base does the same thing.  Has anyone else had this happen?  Any solutions or did Britax just send us two faulty bases?

I haven't noticed this on either of our bases.

That's good to know.  I should note that this only happens when there is no seat in the base.

I haven't noticed this either. But I would assume it's normal since it's a wheel type thing that's suppose to move.

Now next time I'm in the car, I'll have to listen.

Ours do this - both of them. Drives me crazy. I've tried adjusting the base with no luck. Don't make any sounds when the seat is attached.

The one in my car does it when the seat isn't attached, but my husband's doesn't. It's annoying but I just turn up the radio.
