Recommend a Non-Shrinking Clothing Brand

DD shot up the growth curve so fast in her first several months of life that she barely stayed in one size long enough to wear items more than a few times each.  Now that she's finally slowed down her growth I'm noticing that her Carters items, which are the bulk of her wardrobe, keep shrinking and shrinking in the dryer until they are unwearable despite drying them on the lowest heat setting.  Anything I haven't dried too often fits great and everything I've washed and dried regularly is getting far too small.

What clothing brand do you dress your baby in that doesn't shrink so much?

I stopped buying Carter brand clothing because of that reason.  I find the best sleepers that dont shrink are from Children's Place.Their clothing stays true to size as well.

Are they the regular Carter's line or the ones from Target or Walmart? DS wears almost all Carters clothes and we don't have any problem with shrinking. I always wash in cold water and use a medium setting on the dryer.

Regular Carters.  I find the Target Carters line to be pretty poor quality.  I wash cold and use the lowest setting on the dryer.

I saw someone else commenting that the "stiffer" cotton from Carters shrinks while the stretchier stuff doesn't.  I'm going to see if that theory holds on DD's onesies.

Carters is hit or miss with the shrinking and it really does matter what type of fabric the clothes are made of. Baby Gap and Childrens Place have been good in the wash.

With Carters, I usually wash cold and use the ultra low or air dry setting on the dryer.

I haven't had any problems with Carters. Maybe you could buy a size up and let them shrink, or air dry them, and then give them a two minute fluff in the dryer?
