How far alone where you when you found out gender?

At my 12 week NT Scan I was told boy but to wait until 20 weeks to tell anyone. Anyone find out that early and it was correct?? With my Daughter I did not find out until 19 weeks so I  am just wondering.

I haven't found out yet. I will be 20w 3d at my anatomy scan. I had an NT scan done and asked that she not predict the sex, then I had another u/s done at 16 weeks to check some placenta issues, and I also didn't want to know then either. I just feel like it is more exciting to wait until it is 100% for sure (or at least 99%). I wouldn't want to live with the, "oh it might be, or it might not..." mentality.

I found out at my a/s at 20 weeks. I had a u/s at 12 weeks but they did not mention gender at it.

My doctor would not let me schedule earlier than 20 weeks, I'm jealous of everyone finding out at 16 weeks

It was suggested that I have the CVS test done...found out at 13 weeks...healthy baby girl!! :)

I will be almost 22 weeks when I go for my 20 week anatomy scan. She was 95% sure and said boys are easy to predict girls are not lol. She showed us the "Potty" shot but did not print it out lol.

20w with DD#1 and 18w with DD#2.  I'll be finding out #3 at about 18w.

At 12 weeks both sexes pretty much look the same.  I've heard that a *really* experienced U/S tech can tell based on the "angle of the dangle."  There were a bunch of posters a couple of months ago that found out one sex at early elective ultrasounds only to find out they were having the opposite at their A/S scan a few weeks later.

We were told a girl at our 12 week scan and we had our anatomy scan at 17 weeks 5 days and she is still a girl! We also had another one at 18 weeks and 5 days just to follow up because she was stubborn and was in a ball, and they confirmed again, that she is definitely a girl! So its very possible that they are right :). I just had a gut feeling and I started buying girl stuff about week 15 and I was so thankful we were all right because I did not want to have to take all that stuff back lol. It's hard not to get excited when you get a "pretty sure" guess!

This one I didn't find out till 20 weeks, but my first I found out at 15.  both were boys.  Personally I wouldn't trust it at 12 weeks, Id rather just wait.  I didn't ask them to even try at my NT scan.

I was told the wrong gender at 16 wks, and the right pretty much 19 weeks, comf again at 25 weeks.
Mom to 4 cute kids! 8 yo girl 6 yo boy 4 yo boy and new baby boy!

I scheduled an elective US, I will be 16 weeks and 3 days at the Apt. Then On Feb 11th I have my anatomy scan so we shall see.

They did not guess at my NT scan. I went to a boutique place at 16 weeks and they said girl. Girl was confirmed at 18 weeks and 20 weeks.

I found out at 20 weeks with both pregnancies. I asked them to take a peek at my 12-week u/s, but they told me they wouldn't even venture a guess until I was at least 20 weeks.

They can sometimes tell as early as 12 weeks (I have a friend who was told boy at that time and it was a boy) but it's not guaranteed at all. Most of the people I know had their scan at 18 weeks, but my doctor likes to wait until 20. I had mine at 19 weeks.

I was 15 weeks exactly when I had an elective u/s done by a friend of mine as a gift. Baby was determined to be a boy (& I frequently watch the video she gave me to reassure myself). There are definitely boy parts present, & my friend has never been wrong in her entire career. However, I won't have total peace of mind until Jan 7th!!

I found out at 15 weeks my first pregnancy. I would not trust anything sooner than that.

I had two unsuccessful attempts at confirming the sex. At my a/s and then the follow up. Baby just wasn't cooperating. We finally confirmed girl at our 28w growth scan that we had because of my high BP.

It could take many years for your child's gender to be determined, it really depends on whether they identify as a male or female.

Now, the sex (whether they have a penis or vagina) can usually be seen as early as 14 weeks, but most doctors like to wait until 17 weeks or later to make a real sex determination.

We have a heartbeat! 138 beats per minute and measuring right on track. Ultrasound 11/7/12 showed heartbeat in the 160s. Negative MaterniT21 results ... Found out at Anatomy Scan we're Team Blue!

Tell me about it! My doc said the same thing! We've only had doppler! We love the sound of baby's heart but would just like to see how things are going in there.. We go at our 20 weeks! 3 weeks from now!

This is honestly one of my greatest pet peeves and I bite my tongue nearly every time I see "gender" instead of "sex." Glad someone else explained. ;)

i found out at 11 weeks with the maternti21 test and it was confirmed at 20 weeks as well, no one else knows, my husband didn't want to find out and said i could, but he didn't think i could keep it a secret so far so good!

With my DD, I found out at 17 weeks that she was a girl. We will find out the sex of this baby on the 9th at 16 weeks.
