I had my SHG and mock transfer yesterday, and let me just say I was terrified! I had one back in July before my first IVF and it was the most horrible, excruciating procedure of my entire life. I couldn't walk for over ten minutes afterwords because the cramping was so intense.
The SHG/Mock was with a new RE and I'm happy to report that it was a breeze and didn't hurt at all. AND to make matters even better, he said my ute looks PERFECT and he's very optimistic! To hear a doctor say anything that glowingly positive about my lady parts is such a foreign concept since my ovaries have sucked so bad. He said we look great to proceed with the FET and I will start Lupron next week. I'm so relieved that there were no polyps, that it didn't hurt, and we are moving forward!
QOTD: I haven't really thought much about it, but since I just started a blog documenting our Embryo Adoption journey, perhaps I'll try to make a resolution to stick to it and post regularly.
GL to all of my fellow polar bears - 2013 is going to be our year!
