Thoughts on Girl Name

DH is obsessed with Parker for a girl. The ILs also think it's a perfect name.

Our girl name would then be: Parker Bernice Mose-lee.

Thoughts?

Parker is a boy name IMO.  I don't like it, especially for a girl.

It's a boy name. Generally, this board is against boy names on girls. There are plenty of girl names out there to choose from instead of stealing from the boys.

I am struggling with girl names as they all feel really frilly to me. Boy names are Grant or Henry which are both easy and non-controversial. Any recs for girls names with that style?

Hadley is really trendy compared to Grant or Henry which are classics.  A lot of names that end in -ly are frilly to me.  What about Hazel or Delilah?  My DD is Renee.  I don't think it's frilly at all, and I get a ton of compliments on it!

Your boys' names are great, and I like Hadley, too. Not sure if these are really what you're looking for, but since I like the rest of your names, here are some of the girls' names from my long list (they're definitely feminine, but I wouldn't say "frilly" in the way of something like Priscilla): Greta, Nora, Caroline, Ramona, Thea, Willow, Harper.

OP, I really like Hadley!  It does read as trendy but I really like the way it sounds and looks.

I honestly want to send this whole thread to my DH! I totally agree its just silly!

I LOVE our boy names, they are great! Ann I love but that's DH ex wife. I like Erin and Margo so thanks for those suggestions!

Although not a fan a lot of people are using Harper on a girl now.

Brooke comes to mind as not frilly.  I would search for unisex names.
