Third-party assisted conception bump board?

I swear I read a post somewhere a while back that the Bump was considering a board just for third-party assisted conception issues (donor eggs, donor sperm, donor embryos, gestational carriers, etc.)

Does that ring a bell for anyone or does anyone have any more info? I think it would be great and have been thinking about it a lot lately.
Me (31) DH (35) - Finding our path to baby #1
Me: POF/DOR - AMH <0.16, heterozygous c677t MTHFR
DH: Severe MFI
12/2/11 - IUI #1- BFN
8/1/12 - IVF #1 - Zero response from max stims (600iu intramuscularly)
My ovaries seem to be just for decoration

12/6/12 - Adopted five embryos that had been frozen for over ten years!
2/11/13 - Thawed four, sadly two didn't survive. Transferred two beautiful blasts.

2/16/13 - First BFP of my life!
3/27/13 - No heartbeat at 9w0d. D&C the following day.

4/23/13 - Matched to adopt five new embryos!

I remember reading a post that there was interest in such a board, but I'm not sure where it went from there!

Jan '13: 50 mg clomid + menopur + ovidrel + IUI#6 = BFFN
Tired of all this crap. Taking a break. Plan: hubby on 50 mg clomid to try to raise count. T levels have tripled! Repeat SA in March.

I approached the Bump editors about this a couple of months ago but received no feedback.  Prior to my bringing forth the idea, I believe Edwina also approached them.  I guess they feel there is not enough of a demand for some reason.

Seriously? Argh. :( There ar boards for "Connect with Pampers", "Entertainment",  and "Photography" for pete's sake! There are very unique issues that potential and actual parents of third-party conception children face. Argh. I'm going to try to contact them too and try to add my vote. How did you go about contacting them?

DX: Unexplained/MFI issues
Long story: trying on our own + testing testing testing with 6 rounds of Clomid , more testing, injectables + TI, laparoscopy - one tube blocked, 2 IUIs with Follistim...BFNs.
RPL testing all normal

Moving on to IVF.

Our lil' lost sparks:
5w3d loss 7/30/10 - EDD March 2011
8w loss 4/15/11 - EDD November 2011
8w3d loss 8/2/12 - EDD March 2012
4w c/p loss 10/29/12 - EDD July 2012

IVF #1 April 2012 = BFN, IVF #2 June 2012 = BFP. U/S 7/23 = saw heartbeat but measuring behind. Follow up U/S on 7/30 - no heartbeat. D&C 8/2. Trisomy 12. IVF #3 Oct 2012 = Chemical Pregnancy

Phone consult with CCRM on 12/12/12 - ODWU 1/4/13 - both tubes clear(!) - AFC 24, AMH 3.2, FSH 9.6, LH 5.4, E2 25. DH has high frag rate but improved!
IVF #4 March 2013 CCRM. EP protocol w/ Menopur, Gonal-F & Dexamethasone. ER 3/29 & IMSI, PICSI. 43R 13M 10F 6blasts bio'd. CCS testing reveals 3 normals!!! FET 5/31/13

Yep, I fully support this as well! Would there be any way to do a poll like we do for badge voting and somehow email it to the editors or whoever? I am not computer savy at all otherwise I would offer to do it.

DX: DH (30) severe MFI, severely low count & low motility
Me (32): all clear
Appt with Urologist 5/21/12: exam, ultrasound, bloodwork all normal.
Testicular Biopsy with TESE on 6/8/12. good sperm found! (left side only) froze sperm, failed thaw test :(
Orientation for IVF/ICSI on 6/13/12. Waiting for the green light following biopsy results...results show adequate sperm production both sides.
2nd SA 6/18/12: sample is "adequate for ICSI"
Plan: IVF/ICSI July 2012!
ER: 7/26/12. 15 eggs retrieved, all mature.
TESE/TESA/aspiration from epididymis, no motile sperm found :(
froze all eggs, the saga of praying for good sperm continues.
8/3/12: 2nd opinion from MFI uro on biopsy slides. Suspects "partial late maturation arrest."
Plan: more SAs, third biopsy/TESE with frozen back-up either from DH or DS.
SA 8/17/12: Zero sperm
SA 8/23/12: Zero sperm
9/26/12: SPERM FOUND! 15 eggs thawed, 12 survived and were ICSI'd, only 3 fertilized normally. Refrozen as embies and will thaw in Nov. Please survive and grow!
All 3 survived the thaw on 11/15/12!
FET 11/17/12: transferred 2, one 4B, one 4C. Beta 11/30:BFFN
moving on to DS
DIUI#1 2/18/13,50mg Clomid cd 3-7, Ovidrel trigger, Beta 3/4/13: BFN.
DIUI#2 3/19/13, 50 mg Clomid cd 3-7, Ovidrel trigger, Beta #1 (14dpiui) 4/2/13: BFP!!!! 150. Beta #2 4/4/13: 420 Beta #3 4/8/13: 2691. Beta #4 4/15/13: 15,086
1st u/s 4/8/13 shows one gestational sac
2nd u/s 4/15/13 shows yolk sac, fetal pole and early heartbeat
3rd u/s 4/25/13: measuring right on track. Heart rate 148 bpm

We are doing DS, so I would be in support.  And even of we weren't I would be in support of it. 
Me; 35 DH 32 TTC for over 2 years First mini-IVF Sept 2011... Only 1 egg! ... BFN Switching RE IVF#2 May 2012 9 eggs and only 2 sperm, WTH! BFN IVF#3 Chemical... FML. 2 frosties. SAIF/PAIF ALWAYS WELCOME!!!!!

I think this would be helpful for ladies at all stages in the process. 

DOR and AMA
2/12-5/12: 4 IUI cycles = all BFN;
7/12: DE IVF # 1 (with ICSI)- 20R, 16M, 14F, 5DT of 2 blasts (4AB & 3BB); 6 frosties = BFN;
Lupus anticoagulant initially high, then found to be normal on hematology consult;
Follow up testing in September all clear;
Started synthroid for "high normal" TSH;
FET # 1- late October 2012- BFP on FRER; beta # 1- 21(low), beta # 2- 48 (still low), beta # 3- 132, beta # 4- 1,293; beta # 5- 5,606; last beta- over 100,000. First u/s 11/21- heard heartbeat
12/12- Officially an OB patient!
Level 2 ultrasound shows vasa previa and referral to MFM
Mandatory c section for delivery
Keeping fingers crossed

Me(31): Possibly Adult Growth Hormone Deficiency caused by a mutation in my pituitary genes called PIT-1--Also, Factor V Leiden
DH (31): Borderline low morph, but not considered a problem
"Baby dancing" with no protection or BCP since July 2009
IF testing started March 2011
Endocrinology related tests from October 2011-February 2012
March 2012--Clomid --No response-Straight to injects!
April & May 2012-- IUI#1 & #2 = BFN
July 2012- IVF#1 cancelled
September 2012-IVF#1.2--BFN
November 2012- IVF #2 --BFN
January 2013- IVF #3-- BFFN
February 2013--Found a new RE but first back to the Endocrinologist for more diagnostic testing
Absolutely no idea when we can cycle again...looking into DE as well if IVF#4 fails again
PAIF/SAIF encouraged...give me some hope!!

I am definitely in favor of it! There are quite a few of us and using 3rd party presents its own challenges and questions on IF than other diagnoses. Hopefully the powers that be at the Bump will realize that and as another PP said, if there's a "connect with Pampers" board then there shouldn't really be an obstacle to having a 3rd party reproduction board!

Posting in support of a Third-Party board.
TTC since 10/09 Me-44 DH-45 RE and testing 10/10-11/10, Recommending IVF 1/11 New RE AMA and DOR-DH low motility IVF #1.1 cancelled 3/11 due to poor response IVF #1.2 May 2011, one perfect 8-cell embryo, 3dt-BFN, IVF #2.1 Converted to IUI d/t poor response. New RE 9/2011. IVF 2.2 completed using HGH,EPP,DHEA, Q-10 and accupuncture. Transferred one 8-cell, grade one embryo on 10/19. BFP 10/31/11 Chemical pregancy on 11/2/11. Started stims for IVF #3, our final try, on 12-2-11. ET on 12/18. Transferred 3 Grade A embryos-BFFN DE IVF 22R, 15M, 13F. Transferred 2-4AB Blasts on 4/7. 6 frosties. Beta #1 at 8dp5dt- 166!!!Beta #2-344 at 10dp5dt Beta #3-719@ 12dp5dt. u/s 4/24 showed one gestational sac, heartbeat 124/min on 5/2.

Me: 41 (Excited to carry!) DW: 44
June 2012: First RE appt.due to age + plan to use DS
Sept 2012: Both fallopian tubes removed due to blockage
Dec 2012: Donor Egg/Donor Sperm IVF Cycle - BFP! EDD 8/29/13
Mar 15 2013: Missed miscarriage at 15w4d(discovered at 16w1d via home Doppler).
Mar 22 2013: D&E. Tests showed death due to (fluke) blood clot in umbilical cord. :( Genetics all good.
May 24 2013: Hysterscopy to remove uterine adhesion post D&E.
We have three frosties. Hoping for FET in late July 2013!
We live in Seattle and used SRM for our Donor Egg IVF cycle.

Yeah, that would be great! I think it would be good to see what the thoughts are over there too! I might post in SAIF and PAIF and get a pulse from them too. I'll gather the responses to the threads and send it over with my plea. I really want this to happen. :)

100% support from me.   At the moment I don"t feel I really fit in anywhere else. 

I am grateful for the checkin but you have to search and search for it and it"s not very helpful when you have multiple questions or want to share news on a Sunday.

please create a new board.  Or the sub board like the ttcal+6months.

Me 32 and DH 37 married in aug. 2002 Did 5 round of clomid 2010 =BFN High levels of NK CELLS DX sept.2012 DOR:# 0.02 IVF #1 May 2012 ER 4, EF 2, ET 2 =BFN Hysteroscopy 7/12/12 D&C preformed and one Polyp removed MINI IVF Oct.2012 Cancelled 10-27-12 Ivf #3 Antagonist Protocol April 2013 Ivf #3 Cancelled April 22nd 2013 Hopefully when the healing begins we will move on to DE. Everyone Welcome
