GTKY and December Chart Ditch

Anyone else having to completely toss their December/January FF chart? CD1 started two days before Christmas....screw you too BBT!

What are your New Years plans and what's your favorite drink for bringing in the new year? :]

My December chart was pretty much useless. It was my first time charting BBT and I started mid-cycle, most likely after ovulation because I didn't get a spike and AF arrived today.

That's ok with me though.  I'm not TTC yet, and just temping now so that I have some knowledge of my cycles before we do start trying.  It's amazing how little I knew about my own body before starting this process!

My November/December chart was a joke too. I think FF made a mistake when it chose my ovulation day. Now I have one chart with an abnormal (for me) luteal phase. I'm not really sure if I should manually fix it to make my stats more uniform.

Does anyone want to look and share their opinion?

 


Eta: I can't figure out how to share last cycle's chart. Also I have no idea what I'm doing on my iPad. I can't type worth shiit on this thing.

Why did you have to ditch the chart? My charts aren't always as complete as they could be (last cycle I was on vacation during the first week of it and then week 2 I was on a road trip) but I didn't ditch it. The patern might not be as clear but you might surprise yourself.

We're not doing anything fancy for NYE, just going to a friend's house. I have to work the next morning so I'll probably just have a glass or two of wine.

I've never ditched a chart, I try to make them as complete as possible, but I wouldn't delete one because I didn't like it.

As for NYE, it's just going to be DH and I at home, we're boring like that.

And that is why I took a temp break for December bc I knew my temps would be all over the place. FWIW I wouldn't necessarily ditch your charts, you can always discard them later, but I'd keep them for now.

I actually like the look of my Dec chart. Cool

Our NYE plans are looking pretty tame. We talked about having a casino night with a couple of friends and just playing cards. I love Smirnoff Whipped Cream Vodka and cranberry juice, yum!

H and I have a wedding to go to NYE he is actually in the wedding. Usually it's just wine or hot chocolate.

I don't temp at all for the first week of my cycle anyway, but I am thinking about skipping it this month- just because I don't feel like bothering with it. Then again, I think I've said that for the past 4 months and I do it anyway because I want to know wth is going on with my cycle :/

That is because OPK's don't confirm O, they just confirm that the hormone released before you O is in your system. You could have geared up to O, then not done so until the following week. It doesn't mean FF is wrong.

I didn't even chart this month, my dog chewed my thermometer and I started working 3rd shift so my schedule is crazy. Hopefully next month I can get back in the groove of things.

Ugh, I'm glad I'm not the only one.  This chart is horrible.  I don't even know what's going on anymore.  Between getting sick, traveling for the holidays, being on vacation, my temps are all over the place. 

Anyway, we don't have much going on for New Year's.  Probably just gonna have some friends over for some drinks and game night.  Peppermint Patties are my favorite winter time drink... mmmm!!

Oh I didn't delete it and I'm still filling it out, but there are so many open circles and missed days I'm not relying on it much this month. :]

I am only missing one day and overslept one day so far. I also haven't been drinking TOO much, but my chart always looks like he!! Before O anyway.

Our NYE plans are pretty tame. Just me and DH arguing over football vs Ryan seacrest on tv and drinking a bottle of champagne.
