When you were a little girl...

What did you want to name your baby? Every dolly I had was Melissa, but I wouldn't name my baby that name today although it is a fine name. Did anyone stick with their name from when they were little?

I had all 3 names picked out for my boy and twin girls (yep, I planned everything): Anora, Aralora, and Alexanderis (please don't even ask).

 

Needless to say, I won't be using any of them. Though I do suspect if I have a son my mum will call him Alexanderis just to tease me.

I remember liking Leah and Noah. Leah is one of our few compromise names but definitely don't love it like I used to.

My doll was Jenny. I liked to made up names and spellings, my baby was going to be name Azaliana, I guess it's a combination of Azalea ans Liana...

I liked really "fancy" names like Alexandria and Victoria,  Now its not my style at all, I would never use either one.

I was a huge fan of The Boxcar Children, and I loved the name Violet. I'd still use it to this day, if DH didn't hate it.

I also named my Cabbage Patch kid Brittany. That one, not so much!

i always named my dolls emily and jacob. then i married a jacob :) emily is still our #1 for a girl. it has just always stuck with me!

My dolls were Kathleen nn Kate, Kelsey and Madeline nn Madge. I still really love Kate, but wouldn't use the other two.

My favorite 2 dolls were a girl baby doll I named Cindy and boy doll that I named Clancy. Neither of those made it into our top names. :)

My Bitty Baby from The American Girl line was named September!

I knew someone who was named April for her birth month and though that was so cool! I was crazy jealous so my baby's name was September! 

I would NOT use this name ever. Haha.

I used to LOOOVE the name Teena. Like seriously love it. Don't know what I was thinking there!

 

I also loved fancy long "A" names like Anastasia, Ariadne, Alexandria, Adrianna and I still like most of those.

I loved the names Samantha and Amanda. Still like Samantha, but don't think I would use it. I'm over Amanda. For a boy, I liked Billy and Tommy. Wouldn't use either of those.

I had a set of triplet dolls that you had to open the box and take of their hats and blankets to find out of they were boys or girls. I really wanted all girls, I got 2 girls and a boy. I named the girls Tiffany and Tabitha and neglected the boy doll. My other two dolls were name Zoe and Chole.  

ETA: no I wouldn't use any of those names now.... And maybe it's good I have two daughters and no son..... Hmmm.... (kidding) 
My 2 girls, both born on a Friday the 13th, are exactly 2 years, 2 months, 2 hours and 2 minutes apart! Baby #3 coming in October!

Not from when I was little. When I was little I named everything Sally. Then I decided I wanted to have triplet girls and name them Samantha, Pamela, and Tamara (Sammy, Pammy, and Tammy.) Ick!

But many of the names I liked when I was in HS are still on my list; it's mostly a matter of compromising with DH.

My plan was to name my daughter Nicole or Annika and my son Jonathan.   All perfectly normal names, though the only one I would consider now is Annika.

I named my favorite baby doll Andy when I was 6.  I had completely forgotten about him until my mom mentioned him after I named my son Andrew.  Guess the name stuck with me.

I wasn't much of a doll lover.  My names when I was younger were Dylan and Brandon.  Yes...from 90210.  I have a sister is is 9 years older who watched the show so I watched it too.

Every doll I had was Heather. My cousins and I would have knock down fights about who would get to name their baby Heather when we were playing house.
