Jbosarge85:I'm a FTM so I don't have a lot of experience in this but for me, when LO is pushing out (which she does a lot), there is intense pressure in just one part of my uterus. But when I'm having a contraction it feels like the same intense pressure but all over. But that's just been my experience so far.
I agree with this.
Also, when LO gives a hard jab or kick it passes pretty quickly and is more uncomfortable than anything. I wouldn't call it painful, although some of those cervix jabs can be pretty uncomfortable right now! Anyway, a lot of time contractions will start as pain down low so that could be what you're experiencing. Just keep an eye on it. If it turns into active labor you will know it.
