I remember these days! Ouchy!! I stayed on a heating pad at work, at home and I have a heated mattress pad. It helped a little. Unfortunately, it's something I learned to just deal with. I got the whelps that you could nearly see through my clothing. It was bad, but normal.
Some tips. Make sure it's given in the correct place, I think someone here has a graph, have your SO warm the syringe in their hand before sticking you, after it's administered have them rub the injection spot for 2 to 5 minutes. I remember laying across my husbands lap and having him rub my new lady lumps. I hurt!
I sympathize with ya. Ill be back in your shoes soon and I'm not looking forward to it.
