when the 2ww consumes your brain...

what the H do you do?!! this is only our 2nd month ttc... i can only imagine the ladies here that have been trying FOREVERRRR must be crazy during 2ww... so how do you deal? i feel like all i do it think about being preg, am i preg? will i get preg? IS THAT AUNT FLO COMING OR IS THAT MY UTE BECOMING OCCUPIED??!!

 do the thoughts go away over the months of ttc or is it always this way??

I am wondering this same thing. As much as I think about it now, im due to ovulate in the next few days, im dreading the 2ww. I just hope I can find some way to keep my mind off of it but it seems like itll be IMPOSSIBLE

I'm also at two month TTC. I have a one year old so to me I keep very busy. I do think about it a lot!! Like today, this morning I thought for sure I was Ku, now i feel like AF is on its way. :( I just play on here a lot, play with my son. Go to work. But ya I obsess, every night I go to bed I'm anxious to see my temp the next day!! 

 

I took a test this morning, i refuse to buy some until CD 28!!!

I know this didn't answer your question, but your not alone. I read somewhere thatwhen a women decided she wants to get pregnant she wanted to be pregnant yesterday.

me too. I find it hard to believe there will ever be two lines. Although this month I am going crazy in this TWW. Only 6 days left...

Also, I completely agree. I stopped expecting pregnancy after the first few months, so now heading into month 7, I'm fully expecting my period to show.

Definitely easier with time.  I've been really busy the past couple months as well, so that has helped.

This is our first month TTC and my first time ever in the 2WW. I feel like I'm going to burst!! Trying to keep busy to keep my mind off it, but the days are going by sooo slowly. I've been off work all week because of Christmas holidays, so staying home staring at FF and analyzing CM probably isn't helping my nerves. I'm going to be very busy next week so I'm hoping it'll fly by and it will be time to test before I know it!

Yes, it is :) he's the sweetest 4 yo pup.  I want another one.  I got DH to agree to get another in January if we weren't KU yet.  We will see; I'm doubting myself since we've got 5 dogs between my sisters and my mom right now.... Are dogs not allowed at your apartment?  We had him at the apartment for the first year, just walked him 4x a day.

It should get easier with time. Keeping busy as much as possible really helped those two weeks go by faster. This time around I'll be saving myself some money and won't be POAS unless AF is late.

I try to stay busy during the 2WW.  Wine also does help.  I also POAS more than I should and sooner than I should, but it at least gives me a definitive answer at that point in time.

The first month I went seriously crazy. The second month I was slightly less crazy, but still pretty craycray. This month, I don't think I'm ever going to get pregnant, so while it sucks to start shark week, I expect it. I think I would probably *** myself in surprise if I got a positive test. It sounds really pessimistic, but it keeps me from going crazy.

It has gotten easier with time. One thing I found that helps is to find a new hobby that you have to learn, so that you can totally focus on teaching yourself the new skill. I'm teaching myself how to knit. Another is to keep yourself busy with scheduled activities, like a class. And then there's wine.

Eh I'm on cycle 4 (cycle 2 temping) and I'm past obsessing over it. This board definitely helps keep me occupied and keep things in perspective.

A glass of wine and hanging out with friends helps.  It is what it is so you can't obsess over it.

I'm with you, second cycle of TTC, second cycle of crazy obsessive mind fluff. Phantom symptoms galore! Pretty convinced AF will be here tomorrow and I have done 5 tests, all BFN.

We just bought a new home which will mean moving next month, keeping me very busy. That said hubby is off to Vegas for a week during FW so I'm sure ill be SOL next month!

Onwards and upwards...with a drink in my hand...

I wonder if it's an early TTC thing. I'm on my 2nd cycle and I feel like I'm obsessed with it.  Every little twinge I want to analyze.  I'm sure my OCD doesn't help. LOL!!
