Doctors always love me because I'm full of "fun" rare issues....one, of which sends doctors running into the office to see, is my urticaria pigmentosa. Its just a collection of external mast cells that release histamines and form "hives" under certain circumstances.
It might be a stretch but I wondered if anyone else has something similar going through IVF. My fear (today's fear) is that the mast cells are internal as well and perhaps lie in the uterine lining. I'm pretty sure, but haven't confirmed, that they're internal anyways, probably stomach. I came across some studies online regarding implantation failure and mast cells came up here and there.
Oh well...just one more thing to bug my RE about next week :) She loves me, LOL :)
hmz819:I'd ask to get an immunology panel run. After our 2nd ivf failed we are looking into immune issues before we try 3. Good luck
