Thanks everyone! It is so nice to vent and share and get such great responses.
JandD2007 here is my progesterone history. The very first RE I met with, I am on number 3 now, was concerned with my progesterone, this being about 1.5 years ago. I believe it was a 10 around day 23 of my cycle. He ordered me expensive progesterone creme and told me to begin with my next cycle. I don't remember exactly how it played out but this same doc did my first iui which I truly believe was completely mistimed and screwed up so I switched to a new RE. He did progesterone testing and said I was fine, maybe a 19. So I never used the creme. Now with that being said, through everything, I always have early bleeding before my period begins. My cycle is textbook normal, period every 27 or 29 days for at least the three years I tracked it, but every month at about 3 to 4 days before my period I started spotting brown and red, the day before period I would stop then get my period. My RE spent some time with testing, tubes clear, sonograph, hysteroscopy, biopsy, nothing explains my early bleeding so he thinks it is not important. I believe it is hard to get pg if I start bleeding before an embryo could implant! Fast forward to my first Ivf, I was on progesterone inserts and began my period before my beta but still on the progesterone. My beta was negative, stopped meds, and period continued. My FET cycle, we started progesterone a few days earlier and didn't start my period until I stopped the meds. Third Ivf, shared this story when I was going through it, I was on progesterone inserts, I tested at home early and found out it was BFP, fought nurse to test a day early and while in the office began to heavily bleed, pretty sure I was losing it. My beta was okay but progesterone was a 7, my understanding is 15 is a viable pregnancy, so we stopped progesterone inserts and changed to shots immediately and that raised my progesterone to between 30 to 50 through the rest of the pregnancy. Stopped the bleeding until I had a small clot, SCH, and spotted until first ultrasound where we saw it shrunk and told it wasn't a concern. I was so angry with my office. If I hadn't tested early I may have lost it, I had to call the nurse to tell her the bleeding stops after using progesterone and then they decided to test it to find out how low it was. I felt, at the time, I saved my pg, obviously it wasn't enough and I guess not meant to be. I even looked at my numbers from the day I lost it, I just went from 2cc to 1cc of progesterone the week before the lost and my numbers dropped from 50 to 30, no idea if it was because I had lost it already but has me concerned. So I continue to be my biggest advocate and learned I need to be pushy. I know they are the doctors and they went to medical school but I have always been very good at listening to my body. So that is my progesterone story. Hope the next doctor will listen and it can be a starting place! How awesome would it be to have an easy fix!
